Very close to town centre, clean and spacious room, free parking for our rented car (we might have had the only spot though).
Very noisy all the time but fortunately my earplugs worked pretty well. The bed was comfortable but has a plastic protector which causes an issue if you sweat. Showers are not hot, more like barely lukewarm. Breakfast was ok, but you are eating outside no matter what time even if it is cold out. It was unseasonably cold at night while we were there.

Breakfast was great on the rooftop and prepared early for us due to our early departure for tour of ATM and Xunantunich Mayan Ruins. The staff did our laundry for us too for $7 US. We also were in easy walking distance of restaurants/shops and particularly Ken's Sports Bar to watch the US NFC Championship game!
The need to pay in cash for laundry instead of it being added to our bill.

Huge room. Good breakfast up on the terrace and easy walk into the main town. Staff were super friendly
The property is a bit shabby and the shower temperature was impossible to control.

The location is within walking distance to town, restaurants, bus stop, and the market. The family room with hammock is big, clean, has AC, small fridge, free drinking water in dispenser, and comfortable beds. The front desk lady is very nice, and she helps us figure out transportation options to Guatemala. We also enjoyed the rooftop terrace at night.
The bathroom floor can be a bit slippery when wet and the neighbors start cleaning-up at 7AM =)

Pretty loud with outside noise in am. Garbage day?

the location was close to the main strip, really friendly & accommodating staff - my flight was delayed and threw my arrival date and time into chaos but they were really accommodating with helping me sort out my room booking.
i had room 4, the shower was quite weak and didn't provide a lot of hot water.

Guesthouse is run by two lovely ladies. They arranged a tour to Caracol, provided nevessary info how to visit Xunantunich and recommended really good restaurants. They offer a la carte breakfast for $15BZ per person. Breakfast start at 6:30 so you are able to make it before the tours, just you need to order the day before. Room was huge, with the fridge, microwave and coffee machine (for filtered coffee). Walking distance to restaurants.
Well, given the room and nice ladies it was difficult for me to decide for overall rating. The reason is noise from the street. It looks like in San Ignacio they love motorbikes and the hotel is a top a hill, close to many roads. Saturday night was terrible with roaring motorbikes engines all around till late night. The windows can not be closed, so you hear everything. Sunday night was better but still we did not sleep well. I know the hotel can not do anything about it, but it you are light sleeper, you might not like it that much.

Enchanting old building in heart of town and short walk to AJAX chocolate and San Ignacio market.
Very accommodating front desk and cook. On site complimentary breakfast was awesome.
Nearby bar and city movement was loud, but we were there over New Year’s, and it is right in town!

Clean, well kept, very sweet and thoughtful breakfast to order. Staff was wonderful in helping to arrange excursions, made stay in the city much easier to navigate.
Kind of a noisy location.

The location was central to many of the activities that I was looking to do while in San Ignacio. The area is very walkable both day and night. The included breakfast of fresh fruit and toast is enough to get the day started. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helped me book some excursions. I would highly recommend this place.
Nothing. Everything was fabulous. Would highly recommend.

Large room with great facilities including a hot powerful shower. Staff were very helpful and attentive throughout our stay. Location was good and for a budget hotel, it was a brilliant stay.

Big room and adjoining bathroom. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, excellent WiFi (upgraded whilst I was there!). Room even had a hammock installable if required. Room (number 6) was on top floor so rooftop view readily accessible. Clothes line available but also laundry service if needed. Fans (ceiling and upright) and A/C (much needed). Hotel organises tours. Simple but filling breakfast of toast and fresh fruit. Located in central San Ignacio, a few minutes from shops, restaurants, bars, etc.
During daytime the room was sweltering until cooled by the A/C (which thankfully only took a few minutes). I had issue with coffee maker which wasn't addressed (no real issue as I used microwave and instant coffee instead).

Very friendly staff, on the edge of the city centre and price wise really good. Nice small breakfast included.

The beds were huge and very comfortable. Best sleep I’ve had in my 3 weeks in Central America. There was complimentary basic breakfast items which was nice to grab before our next shuttle.
It is very basic. If I had to nitpick I would say it could be decorated more nicely.

A wonderful hotel with a very thoughtful host. No matter how early you wake up, there will always be coffee, bread, and fresh fruit brought to you. Booking tours through them is also a great option — the prices are better, and everything is well arranged. The room is clean, comfortable, and fully equipped. The location is very convenient, right in the city center. I’m really happy I chose to stay here!

Staff was very friendly. It is 2 blocks from the main stretch, but can be a bit dark when walking back at night. Room was a little basic, but adequate.
Shower did not seem to have hot water. Common area can be a little nicer done up perhaps.

The guest house is an older property but the hosts keep it very clean and thought of so many small things for comfort. For example enough towels, towel hooks, filter papers for coffee machine, a simple self service breakfast, and very comfortable beds. The family room was very large. The hosts even do laundry for a great price! It was a great location near to restaurants etc in town.
It was a bit older and worn eg in bathrooms if that is important to you

Lovely run guesthouse, only 6 rooms which were huge with a hammock in ours which our children loved. Breakfast was a bonus! Perfect location to town and very friendly staff who helped me book tours before I arrived and made us feel welcome when we were there. Can’t recommend enough!

Appreciate the staff so so much! They helped us book the ATM tour at a good price. Also helped to keep our clothes when it rained too heavily. Breakfast was great too.

A real gem of a hotel. Superb, friendly staff. Comfortable spacious rooms with strong AC and great WiFi. Free complimentary simple breakfast was a nice touch.
The only thing I can think of was that the water pressure was a bit low in the shower.

I think the room could be more cozy.

Great location; in the middle of town and within walking distance to bars/restaurants and supermarkets. Easy to flag down a taxi. Within walking distance to the iguana sanctuary and (if you really wanted to) the Cahal Pech ruins.
Room and bathroom was very spacious. Shower had decent pressure.
Breakfast was included in the price; included coffee, fruits and bread (to make toast) with different spreads.
There is a water dispenser to refill your water bottle.
Air conditioning was excellent.
The lady running the hotel was very pleasant and helped to organise taxis.
Difficulty unlocking main door with key given.

The girls working here are amazing. They couldn't be more helpful. Our room was immaculately clean and the location was two minutes walk to everything. We booked ATM tour through Arnolds and saved a $10 per person fee which everyone else charges.

The hotel is really close to the town centre. It’s very clean and they provide a free breakfast and freshly brewed coffee every morning. The ladies who run the hotel are exceptionally kind and helpful. They were amazing to us when our shuttle didn’t arrive to take us to Flores. They organised a new shuttle at really short notice after having no luck trying to get any sense from the original company we had booked with. They really care about their guests and are lovely people.

The staff at Arnold’s are amazing. Staying there felt like staying with family.
I loved the complementary (simple) breakfast, the hammock in the room and the smiles of the staff
The shower did not provide hot water. But it wasn’t really cold either so it didn’t bother me

Friendly, helpful staff helped me arrange a tour to ATM and the shuttle to Flores; LARGE, clean, well-kept room; close to lots of shops and restaurants; wi-fi worked well in my room as did the air-conditioner; comfortable beds; large shower
Poor water pressure in the shower

We were so pleasantly surprised by this guest house! Nothing fancy, but b
ig bright rooms, very comfy bed, fridge and hammock in the room and great showers. There was also free drinking water and a free coffee + a toast and jam station in the mornings, which was priceless as Belize felt a bit expensive coming from Guatemala. We extended our stay and really enjoyed spending slow mornings and chill time here.

The staff were amazing- super helpful and gave us lots of reccomendations including a lovely local river we could swim in- they were more than happy to go out of their way to help us for example we wanted to get some water late so they came out and let us through to get it.
For the price it was more than we expected, don’t really have a bad word to say

Such a great place to stay. Rooms were spacious, AC was fantastic. There was ample fruit and toast for breakfast. The women who work there are so lovely and great to have a chat with.
