Beautiful grounds, comfortable beds, fresh foods, exceptional , friendly staff.
The restaurant was great but since the was only one maybe offer a light lunch menu.

Wonderful little resort in a tropical garden, spacious room, very friendly staff
The resort is not in walking distance to San Ignacio. You need a car (and worse a parking spot) to go there. This makes you dependent on the hotel‘s facilities and restaurant.
Be aware that the breakfast included only means a small selection of breakfast choices. Whenever you want something extra eg eggs you pay extra!
You pay a 10% „service charge“ on everything, even on the organization of tours, which is quite a ripoff.
I did some activities organized by the hotel. These tours (especially the mayan cooking class) are real good, however as a single I had to pay for two people (minus a small discount). Moreover, tax & „service charge“ were added to the net prices mentioned in the flyer. Taken together this makes these tours unacceptably expensive.

The rooms were clean and the beds were really comfy
Definitely not as high end as they claim to be. Meal prices were excessively high for the quality & quantity of food served. Just mediocre. The “included breakfast” was a joke. 2 pieces of dry toast (no butter or jam), and a teeny tiny scoop of eggs with 2 mini slices of fruit. We also preordered the night before extra items: oatmeal & and omelette without milk or cheese. Both came with milk & cheese.
