Villa Massis Penthouse

We stayed at Villa Massis March 22nd till the 27th. We were celebrating our 30th anniversary and we can say that the folks at the Villa, our host, Larry, Chef Melanie, and darling little Lucy made this the most epic anniversary of all time for us. We stayed in the luxury penthouse suite. Beautifully appointed with an awesome view of the pool and surrounded by jungle, it was spotlessly clean with a huge kitchen and bathroom, very nice furnishings and wonderful, Belizean inspired artwork from a local artist gracing the walls of the suite. Melanie is the on site chef that serves a delicious taste of Belize on every plate! It was so good that we never cooked once in that beautiful kitchen. Lucy was there providing top notch service as well and makes the best homemade tortillas we've ever had and even gave me a shory lesson on how the magic happens in their kitchen... and what they do IS culinary magic! Larry knows all the must sees of the area and we were totally spoiled with daily itineraries he provided, booking our adventures for us with top notch guides, shuttles services from the airport to the villa and then getting us safely with Ian at Jewel Belize by car to Placencia... we've never had better service anywhere. Thank you all for making this the most memorable anniversary ever. We are already planning our next trip there. We left feeling that we have a new family of friends and miss them all already. Thank you, thank you, thank you, see you next year my friends!!

We made the best Belizean memories in San Ignacio with our stay at this property. Clean, beautifully maintained, and well located. Larry was easy to communicate with prior to arrival and happy to answer questions during our stay. The meals prepared by Amini and Melanie were outstanding. Belizean comfort food at it's best!
