It was all fine, totally ok, everything we needed was there, clean, good to go. Good distances from everywhere etc. Nothing special, but ticked all the right boxes. Once past the awful app of booking.com the humans were very clear and supportive.

Booking.com itself I honestly wish didn't exist. It's so difficult to navigate for an Elder, which I am. I wish they made it easy to chat with someone. I didn't like the continually need for another thing, then another thing, to actually get to stay. I needed to have a phone/computer on me every day in the week before to meet new needs by this particular company owning the flat and that was stressful as I was off grid. I would have preferred it to all be done in the first moment rather than text after text after text trying to meet all the criteria. The house feels sad ... Literally emotionally sad. Like there have been lots of arguments in it, or just no care. I found that side of it hard - like it's just a money making machine, not a home ... Maybe putting fresh flowers in, or a plant, or an essential oil so it doesn't smell unloved would be a good idea. Not those false fake smells, they're disgusting! Parking was a nightmare incidentally. Although the company arranges a permit, actually finding a space in that road is completely impossible. I drive a van and did specify this when booking, would it be ok to park that, and received no response. I can understand why now, the clear answer would be that you might have to park miles away and walk everything in as it's a very very narrow street and you could get physically stuck in it. I would have liked to have been met at the property and welcomed by a real person, shown around maybe, although it was late by the time we finally found the house and a parking space. I think the human touch is so beautiful and so rare these days. We struggled to find the house as the booking com map link took us somewhere completely different and as it was dark that made it hard to figure out where we were meant to go. Thankfully when I called the number I had been messaged on during the week before, someone answered each time and helped us solve various things very kindly.

Comfortable and beautifully decorated. Lovely attention to detail. Bed linens were fab and the beds were super comfy.

No upstairs bathroom but the bedrooms were fantastic.

Some hanging space in the back bedroom would be useful, eg a few hooks on the wall behind the door. A longer flex for the bedside light. The spiral staircase might be difficult for some people and perhaps should be mentioned

It was very comfortable, pet friendly (we stayed with our two cats!), had fast wifi, a great location, and the hosts were very helpful.

The inside stairs were a little scary.

Moderne, großzügige Ausstattung, Waschmaschine, Bluetooth Lautsprecher, schöner kleiner Garten, schöner Esstisch mit sanftem Licht. Vom Quartier aus konnten wir gut die Stadt erkunden, Pittsville, Montpellier, beides sehr sehenswert. Lidl war unser Shop, wie zu Hause.

Wir hatten große Probleme mit dem Zugangscode und den KI Antworten. Der Nachbar half uns schließlich, danke! Der Code musste erneuert werden. Der Kühlschrank funktionierte nicht und wurde ausgetauscht, gegen einen weiteren Tiefkühlschrank. Nicht so hilfreich.
