The worst rental I’ve ever had - filthy, dirty and disgusting.

The property was absolutely filthy, with dead flies, dog hair and worst of all other people’s dirty linen left in the galley way for us to climb over to get in. The bedrooms were also dirty, dusty and the two bathrooms utterly disgusting. The window in the en-suite was black and covered in mold and it was clear it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a very long time. The dirty laundry took from Friday to Sunday morning to be removed!! Absolutely disgraceful numerous phone calls and reports made and very little care or attention from either Pass the Keys or Booking.Com

Worse than the filth and dirt was the lack of support or response from Pass the Keys (property management) or Booking.Com. We spent so much time in what should have been a lovely BH weekend chasing getting someone else’s dirty linen moved.

Interesting Aroma

Location. Bathroom and En Suite Kitchen

The horrendous lingering smell that hits you when you come in to the property, which is more intense near the locked cellar door and rear office room. Keeping the doors to the bedrooms closed and windows open helped to relieve the smell. The abundance of reed diffusers and scented candles suggests this is an ongoing issue. The flies were just a bonus. The beds were uncomfortable, the double in the front room pushed against the window so as to create room was reminiscent of a squat. Not the cleanest of properties with an inch of dust on the bedside lamps, the settee had seen better days and the carpets.... Remote control lid broken

Disappointed that the boiler didn’t work.

Nice property, good location. However the boiler didn’t work during our stay.. and put a real damper on our stay. Also strong smell of damp in kitchen.
