Great for a girlie weekend

A fabulous house in an excellent location. It is decorated beautifully and the hot tub is an added bonus! We came to Cheltenham as a group of 6 friends and the house was perfect. Plenty of room and very well equipped.

A wonderful city escape with space to comfortably accommodate 4-6 people (or two with loads of room)

The house was exactly as advertised: a well-presented townhouse with access to keys through a secure lockbox (details provided in advance). On entering the property, there is a beautiful, large bathroom (tub big enough for two), a walk-in shower and a toilet with a bedroom opposite. Under-stairs utility space with all the essentials (ironing board, drying rack, washing machine). Door leading to outside space. Upstairs to the well-equipped kitchen before scaling up to the wonderful living space. Two further bedrooms upstairs with an additional bathroom, as well as a double sink and shower in the master room. Well located to the town centre - John Lewis, cinema complex, escape room, and plenty of eateries.

The advert explained the parking situation - we parked in the multi-storey across the road. It can be booked in advance and is reasonably priced for town centre parking. The only gripe is the narrow ramps to drive up and down the floors. Nothing to do with the property - but useful to note.

Great base to explore Cotswolds

Location was great, walkable to shops and restaurants. Decor was lovely and inviting. Spa was a welcome treat after a day exploring Cotswolds. Fast response to questions was appreciated. Parking e-ticket provided.

Lots of levels and stairs - challenging with luggage but once settled great. Parking was challenging but we found parking.

Lovely house. Great location the hot tub was a lovely addition . Fantastic communication with host would definitely stay again . The house is beautifully presented and very clean . Comfortable beds and the kitchen had everything we needed .

The only very slight criticism is that the sofa bed mattress was a bit uncomfortable and would benefit from. Mattress topper but we got round this by using the duvet as a topper then blankets to cover us . Lots of stairs if you aren’t so mobile but this wasn’t a problem for us at all and we loved the character of the house

Fantastic clean centrally located property

The central location was fantastic. Even though it was close to restaurants and bars it was still very quiet. All amenities needed and hot tub worked perfectly.

Great potential but hot tub should be checked prior to check-in to avoid disappointment

Beautifully decorated property in a great location.

Hot tub wasn’t working - stone cold and buttons not working despite being ‘on’ at main switch. Unable to sort it out for our stay which was disappointing as it was really the main reason for booking this house. Only one parking permit available. Other parking options are close by and reasonably priced (£12-15 per car for the weekend). 2 out of 3 showers flooded the bathrooms++ after less than 5mins use. Most of the property was very well kitted out and luxurious but no tea towels or appropriate cleaning product for the kitchen. Various glasses/mugs were cracked (though plenty of others to use) and generally difficult to reach crockery etc as kitchen cupboard shelves are very high.

Perfect for a few days in Cheltenham

This was the perfect base for a weekend away with friends. Very central - only a couple of minutes walk from the centre. The house is decorated beautifully. Beds very comfy. The hot tub was a bonus - how fantastic! We would all happily stay here again and will be recommending it to friends.

The key lock box was a bit tricky to close but only a tiny detail. Everything else was amazing!

Fantastic location, lovely decor, every type of glass possible in the kitchen which was really well stocked. Excellent communication with host.Parking permit sorted by host.

Not a great deal of places to hang/ store clothes but as only there for a couple of nights it wasn’t really a problem.

We would never go back. Horrible flies and poor service.

The location is convenient

There were flies on the roof inside the house one night that we could not sleep until 4 am and so many dead flies were founded on the floor and inside the bathtub next morning which was so horrible. Irresponsibly, the cleaner and the responsible agent officer complained to us that was due to our rubbish which in fact the cleaners had just cleaned the whole house the very same day. The cleaners even asked us to clean away the flies. We waited for the cleaners to come until 5 pm the other day when we were first told they would come in the morning. The whole house was only cleaned twice despite we stayed there for more than one months. The washing machine is located under the staircase which was dusty and difficult to use. The cleaners put my children’s towels on the floor and put them back afterwards. Lucky that I see.

The location

It's an absolutely stunning property but not for anyone who struggles with stairs.

The location was perfect, just across the road from John Lewis.

The only set back was the stairs in the property. My mum is elderly and I hadn't realised there would be so many!! She stayed in the lower room which was great, although the bath wasn't very practical. It was beautiful but hard for her to get in as quite high, also nowhere to put the soap when having a bath. It was also hard for her to apply her make-up as the mirrors where too high up! And No wardrobe space for clothes.

well we had a big problem which was eventually resolved electrics went so no hot water then when we returned to the property our keys were not in the lockbox I wrang the proprietor and he never returned my call luckily I had a thought to look under the plant pot and the keys were put there

Appalling customer service. avoid

After the Queen’s passing, our event had been cancelled. I emailed the property to ask if we could cancel and would re-book when our event is rescheduled, they replied to say yes but I had to go through booking.com as they couldn’t sort their end. I did this and they then just ignored booking.com (should have had a response within 24 hours) I then messaged the property myself again to say can they press the “green” button at which they then said as per policy no refunds. if this has been mentioned to me at the very start I could have tried to organise a friends trip and not Chuck £729 down the drain. no offer of meeting halfway, or rebooking to a later. this was exceptional circumstances for everyone and am disgusted the property didn’t have the decency to say this at the very start until after the trip dates. you should be ashamed. please avoid

The townhouse itself is lovely and the hot tub a huge bonus. The location is excellent close to everything and only a short walk to the montpellier area which we love. The downstairs bathroom is amazing and finally someone thought about lights. I like to have good light when putting makeup on and this was excellent. We took the downstairs bedroom as there was only 2 of us and it saved carrying the case up 2 flights. So the noise at night was a little more than what would be on the higher levels. But considering you're right in the heart of town not obtrusive. Can highly recommend and we will be coming back.
