Plenty of space and well equipped

The house is a bit bigger than we expected with plenty of space. The kitchen is large and well equipped. There was also a washing machine. Some of our group found the decor a bit dated, especially the orange curtains in the lounge but on the whole it was homely and I liked it. There is plenty of room for two cars on the drive. Its only about a 20 minute walk to anywhere in central Cheltenham. Great for going to the races, Prestbury and Cleve Hill too. It was very quiet at night.

Spacious house in a quiet location

Spacious house with small, shaded garden. Quiet location but good for both town and country visits. Lovely to have a separate dining room. Shower room downstairs was very small. Upstairs bathrooms had showers over the bath only - good water pressure though. Large kitchen did not have enough crockery and cutlery so we had to use the dishwasher frequently. Could do with some more. And finally, when we arrived the rubbish and recycling bins outside were full. No instructions on which day to put them out.

Lovely spotlessly clean house in a really good location for short walk to the centre and the racecourse. Very quiet.

Lovely House

We had a wonderful stay. The house is fantastic and the beds are very, very comfortable. Easy to find and easy to access. Was lovely and warm and had everything we needed for a short stay. We sadly didn't spend a lot of time in the house as we were with family, but the lounge had loads of seating and also very comfortable. Didn't realise there was a downstairs bathroom until the day we left as we thought it was a cupboard. In checking the listing, I realise it was advertised as 3 bathrooms, but this didn't make any difference to our stay. Thank you!

A marvellous place for a short stay for up to 8 people.

Spacious, modern, clean, accessible and pleasant. The guidance from our hosts, although we never met them, was timely and responsive. A very large kitchen and utility room, both well equipped, were an unexpected bonus.

We were surprised that the kitchen lacked a dishwasher, a tea pot and a toast rack. These were minor drawbacks. We would also have liked some wardrobe space and shelves or cupboards in the bedrooms instead of just a freestanding rack with coat hangers. We made do with window sills and occasional tables.

good and convenient to shop in nearby supermarkets. Quite location, easy 30min walk to town centre.

spaces in the house are big, washing machine, dryer are useful, welcoming chocolate and biscuits are nice. free tea bags and instant coffee are there for convenience.

pans in there are pretty small so it's difficult to cook pastes for the whole family. And the frying pan has no lid, no steamer.

We had some cleaning issues at the start ... But the host was very cooperative and made all the necessary bits possible within a favourable span of time Would highly recommend it to my fellow friends and family if they're looking to have an escape from the busyness

Schönes Haus, große Küche mit nahezu allem was man braucht. Schöne Lage, sehr ruhig und trotzdem Zentral. Einkaufsmöglichkeit fußläufig.

Es ist keine Garderobe vorhanden, die Brausen gehören erneuert, der Backofen und die Teller und Glasschüsseln waren sehr schmutzig.
