Portland Apartments

Clean and tidy, we had warm weather and found unit a little warm in the afternoon. If leaving the windows open, the unit is noisy to traffic from the main road. The bedroom is quiet, however. The apartment is not quite the 5 stars that some reviewers have mentioned. It may have been at one time but furniture/fixtures now need an upgrade. The location is great, close to the High Street, and with several good restaurants/pubs within walking distance. - Welcome package included bread, croissants, milk, orange juice and some fruit. Coffee, tea, cereal, jam replenished daily - Flat was cleaned daily and towels changed, if requested - Kitchen was comfortable to prepare simple food and had all the amenities in good condition Would I stay here again? Not sure. I may look for other accommodation in the area first.

- If guests in the downstairs unit are cooking, you will get the smell upstairs (shared vent?). For us, this was a big issue. - Small bathroom with very dim lighting - The apartment has 7 car spaces, at the back of the building and you need to haul your suitcases through the adjoining church to the front door of the building. No lift if booked in upstairs units (up one flight of stairs) - We stayed in the top unit and our floor boards creaked a lot (not sure if the unit downstairs heard us, although we were careful walking around)

This apartment is extremely well appointed. The hosts have gone the extra mile to ensure the highest standards are maintained for a superb guest experience. Really liked the super comfortable bed and stunning bathroom with a great shower.. 10/10

Absolutely nothing it is faultless !!!

The location was perfect. Daily housekeeping service was a bonus. Ground floor apartment with access to outdoor space and car park was great. The information folder was helpful. The breakfast, milk, orange juice, toiletries were thoughtful and most welcome.

Everything! Perfect location. Lovely Sarah who checked us in and showed us round the studio. The studio itself was amazing. Very well appointed with everything you could possibly need!
