This apartment ticked every box for me. I loved its position, just a few minutes’ walk from the town centre and close to all amenities. Our host met us on arrival to hand over the keys and show us around, and she was genuinely friendly and welcoming.
We stayed in the Montpellier Suite, which was absolutely beautiful and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and our host had kindly stocked the fridge with milk, fresh orange juice, bread and croissants. There was also a coffee machine with pods, along with tea, instant coffee, breakfast cereals and some lovely biscuits.
The apartment was spotlessly clean, the sofas were comfortable, and it was wonderfully warm throughout. The shower was hot with perfect pressure, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in—second only to my own at home. Parking is located at the rear of the building, and we were able to keep an eye on our car from the bedroom window.
Overall, this weekend break was a thoroughly positive and enjoyable experience. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Portland Apartments to anyone looking for a place to stay in Cheltenham.
