Apt 1 - Queens Court

Great location for our visit to Scarborough’s Open Air Theatre. Apartment was well presented and clean and the lady of the house kindly left us a card which allowed us to park on the street free of charge.

Our main issue was the designated check out time of 10am. On a Sunday morning, after a night out, this booting out time seemed a little mean. The standard 11am check out time would have allowed us to eat our breakfast at leisure instead of having to rush everything. The apartment was nicely decorated but could have done with a few more hooks, shelves and coat hangers for towels. toiletries and clothes.

Nice apartment clean (not.too keep on pot/glass orniments with kiddo with me ) but nice touch for adults Working cooker and microwave all cooking needs catered for and a fridge loved the fridge Very good location for both sides of beach and Like the fact this had a table to eat at too amenities near by cafe takeaways local shop Nice staff liked i could cook my own meals as baby has allergies Had teatowels and some.basic cleaning supplies which was helpful Comfy main bed Would say very good for young couples no kids on own or couple with a child old enough to know not to touch things in kitchens Very good soundproofing quiet even tho had noisy neighbours up road it really would be great for young couples but it didn't work for me very well but this is my own experience The price was good And the bathroom was very nice and cool as we was in a heatwave Tv was good as had preset youtube stuff and i player etc etc Coffee milk and loo roll was a fab touch and had hand wash and stuff like that in the bathroom which i thaught was great Id honestly say this eould be a ten out of ten short stay no kids romantic get away maybe

I ordered as lower floor am mobility disabled and had my grandaughter and my ex partner with me hes my physical carer and unfortunately we had to share a bed Bed hard to get around and had to get around bed to go to the bathroom Couldnt go to loo as kept having to lock the bathroom door by blocking it to stop kiddo getting in Tiny towels if your a size 10 your ok if your fat like me take your own needed more towels and didnt want to bother staff Sofa bed no good to anyone heavy so bare this in mind if booking with family member or friends and dont want to share a bed Unable.to empty kitchen bin as bins out back were full had toddler with diapers Also if ur not with partner u have to go thru the bedroom to get to bathroom. House seemed to be next to a hostel or assisted living place was a bit off putting seeing official people next door all the time As normally officials mean people drinking drugs or other issues. Not somwhere i would take a toddler again And a hoover would be good as wasnt one i wanted to clean up and wasnt able to hoover the floor with toddler it would have been a nice option The biggest issue for me was the bed so close to wall and location of bathroom in the property with it being a ground floor flat most people with mobility issues will look at these and felt frustrated with the bed so very close to the wall

The bed was clean and comfortable.

The settee was extremely cheap and uncomfortable. You could barely get round the bed to the bathroom. The shower was so small you couldn’t turn round in it and it is in desperate need of regrouting. One of the cups was dirty and I had to wash the teaspoons before I used them.
