Fabulous apartment ,stupid parking rules

Everything was exceptional, only real problem was impossible parking anywhere near the apartment ,which silly council then says move your car after 2 hours, go find another spot ,surely all you are doing is moving cars around the close area, your not creating less or making it better ,sheer stupidity, some council clerk get a grip ,why 2 hours

The apartment was spotless.

The location, although I know they can’t change, was far from desirable. We had next door neighbours playing loud music late at night u til early hours. The sofa bed is so uncomfortable and the property is more for two people than anymore. Even with a small child it was a push.

Love the location of these apartments! Super clean and modern, with everything you need for being away from home. Ample space for our family of 3. Great communication from the vendor

Lovely stay

The apartment was well kept, clean and tidy. It was in a great location. It was quiet and very comfortable for our 2 night stay. There was a book with local information and information about the apartment which was a nice touch. The kitchen was fully equipped and the fridge was a good size. The bathroom was a good size and the bed was very comfortable.

The only thing i would say is when i originally booked i was told free parking comes with the apartment through a permit. However on the day of my arrival i received my check in email and was told the permits have changed so i needed to either move my car every 2hrs during certain times or park in a nearby pay by the hour carpark. The carpark was close but up a hill so if you struggle to walk I'd say this isn't the place for you.

Satisfactory but the smell of damp overshadowed the good features.

The apartment was nicely decorated throughout and very clean. It felt safe and secure. It was reasonably priced too.

The shower cubicle was very small for the size of the bathroom. There was a smell of damp through the bathroom to the bedroom, and obvious signs there had been an attempt to disguise this (white paint patches along the borders of the skirts and wall joins).

Well located, clean and tidy apartment

Very nice, well-appointed apartment. Clean. Great location - North and South Bay within walking distance (5 minutes and 20 minutes respectively).

A few minor issues: - Not enough clothes hangers provided for 2 people (same with milk/tea) - A shower shelf would have been handy for our own toiletries (too cramped to reach them on the shower tray) - Parking permits were temporarily unavailable, but other cars nearby had them (we were provided with a disc but had to pay for parking in town otherwise would have needed to change our plans)

Fantastic apartment

Warm, comfortable accommodation, with all you need in the lovely bathroom and kitchen. Soundproofing means you're not disturbed by other guests. Comfy bed. Everything very clean and fresh. Close to all local amenities.

Excellent spot for a holiday or weekend in scarborough!

It's a well-laid-out, clean space with great facilities and amenities. The location is excellent, with ample on-street parking outside the apartment and only a 5-minute walk from North Bay Beach (if you're surfing, I'd highly recommend staying here!).

While the bed in the main bedroom was incredibly comfortable, the sofa bed left much to be desired. The mattress was thin, and for those with back problems, it wouldn't be ideal. However, the apartment is overall excellent, and I'd recommend it to anyone travelling to Scarborough.

Almost perfect, but not quite

Clean, bright, modern, and very well equipped. Access to the flat was very easy with lockbox and front door codes. Parking permits for the duration of the stay were in the flat when we arrived.

Could use a hook on the back of bathroom door as nowhere to hang clothes / bathrobes when showering. Just one bath towel each, and what was possibly a floor towel, but no hand towels. Extractor fan on/off switch positioned far too high for every day use, and didn't appear to switch on and off with the lights. Sadly, when fitting the shower cubicle, the owner should have gone a bit bigger. The bathroom can easily take it and unfortunately the current cubicle isn't big enough to swing a mouse. Kept banging my elbows. The lounge area is a little sterile and not very homely. It needs softening up with pics and ornaments, plus a coffee table or another small side table. Currently nowhere for the second person to put a drink anywhere other than the floor. Not the comfiest sofa. The bedroom is compact and bijou. Usable, but a little tight when moving around the bed.

Loved the apartment everything was beautiful and spotless. Looked even better in person from the photos on the website. The hosts were fantastic, couldn't fault them at all.

Maybe let people know you have to walk through the bedroom for the bathroom. Didn't bother us as we are family, but if 2 adult couples book they might not feel the same. Also could do with another chair in the living area, maybe just in the alcove. One of us had the move a chair from the dining room to sit together, after a long day walking would have been nice to sit in a comfy chair.

The pleasant apartment is all you need for a short trip. Close to the sea.

The heating in the bathroom is not strong enough to heat the room (weak radiator for the bathroom) we were very cold after the shower.
