Great Scarborough location

A very modern facilitated house. Even though we were only a couple, it's large enough for a large family. The location was great, although my Sat Nav thought otherwise. We were very grateful for Pippa on the end of the phone to give us directions. The house is only ten mins walk from almost anywhere in Scarborough, ok, the Spa Complex might be 20 mins. Parking was OK, we parked directly outside of the house all week. Because of the house location, we didn't need to use the car. All in all, this would be our first choice when we return to Scarborough

Clean and compact

Getting an email telling me I was going to be charged for damage !! For a faulty W/C valve that passed water, before we even used it. Also this was reported and witnessed by woman running house. Ruined a good weekend.

Fabulous location, central and easy walk to seafront. Bedrooms spacious and well presented. Friendly local pub at the end of the road. One-stop shop also very close. Fab stay, wonderful views, easy access and walkable . Will come again.

Great property for a family get together to celebrate new year and visit Scarborough. Very welcoming host.

Great sized property over three floors for seven of us to stay. Clean and well equipped kitchen. Good central location. Good contact with the hosts prior to stay to provide information and check if we had any additional queries. The welcome fudge was a nice touch and also the provision of the parking permits to cover our stay.

As previously noted in reviews, an additional shower would be beneficial. We had read about this prior to booking and we found it to be manageable but it would be a welcome addition.

It was a lovely house with spacious rooms, comfortable for 6 adults and 1 toddler. The host Pippa was great and even left us milk and fudge. Beds were comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Lovely outdoor area. Location was great.

Clean, comfortable three storey house in central location.

Very nice clean, comfortable three storey house. Short walk to Scarborough sea front, shops, etc. Handy for restaurants. Everything we needed in the house and a helpful owner who provided parking permits for both our cars. Outdoor table and chairs for the warmer weather. Comfy beds. Bath in the top floor bathroom and ensuite shower on the middle floor but also a handy downstairs loo. Well equipped kitchen. Quiet at night.

Noisy seagulls above the top floor rooms first thing in the morning. Probably the same anywhere in Scarborough. Sloping ceilings in top bedrooms got in the way a little. Some stiff doors and creaky floors but nothing we couldn't cope with. The street itself was a bit scruffy although house was lovely.

Stunning property

Stunning house, beautifuly decorated. plenty of room for everyone. Really appreciated the extra touches. Balloons, flowers, biscuits, and a card for my mums 70th birthday. Thank you so much. Great location. Would definitely return.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. The only thing that would of been nice is a hairdryer. We forgot to take one with us. But that was wishful thinking.

Large, comfy, spacious house

The house is plenty big enough for upto 6 adults, great kitchen and comfy beds.

It wasn't a dislike but probably a shower in the bathroom and a tv in a couple of the bedrooms would be an idea if you had kids staying with you.

Great Stay.

Lots of space, nicely decorated and very clean. Having dust allergies in the family, I normally have to clean places when I get to them but not much at all here. The house was also warm and sofas comfortable. Location is good for walking into town and down to the amusements etc as well as to the North beach.

Being picky - a shower in the upstairs bathroom would be good as the only shower is in the en-suite.

The house is fabulous! Very clean with everything you could possibly need! Even pegs! very comfortable beds and decorated beautifully . And pippa was very helpful and friendly .lovely big house plenty of room for everyone. Parking was great on the road by the house with a permit supplied. We had a fantastic weekend at Valiant House. The house is in a great location for accessing both the north and south bay

Warm, homely and very clean accommodation. The fixtures and fittings are of a high standard and there as been as lot of thought into the decoration.

It was good to have three toilets but it would be good if the bathroom on the top floor could have an over bath shower fitted.

Nothing to fault apart from only one shower, would be perfect if another shower in main bathroom, especially when you are all waiting to use it in a morning or getting ready for a night out.

Surprisingly large house, extremely well presented. Very clean. everything provided that you could want with the exception of a tea-cosy. Close to all amenities - if we come back to Scarborough this will be our first choice for somewhere to stay.

Valiant House was very clean and comfortable. Nice extra touch was a box of biscuits left for our arrival.

Tiny little thing, the electric kettle needs descaling (bits in the boiled water). However we just used a pan on the hob to boil water.
