The most amazing cottage in Paternoster

This cottage would be in the sea if it was any closer to the water. Very well equipped. Loved the fire place in the lounge. We had a fire going from mid afternoon until bed time. Bring your own wood. Very private. Parking right next to the cottage.

Ocean front retreat

The location, perched right by the ocean, was incredible. The place was wonderfully clean, with beautiful towels and robe. It was very private and the system of alarms insured security. This was a perfect place to rest and recharge.

Perfect West Coast

Amazing location... Couldn't have asked for better sunset views. The weather was perfect that said, unfortunately we cannot control that. Very well equipped cottage. Prefect for a few glasses of wine and a fun and happy evening around the braai. Paternoster is a small town, so it's very easy to get wherever you need to be with a mere 5 minute drive.

The gas geyser have endless issues, especially when showering. Previous guest reviews highlight the same issue... I hope that the priory has attended to this. Besides this, we cannot fault the venue 😁

A comfortable stay in a well equipped unit right on the beach.

It does look a bit like a dumping ground in the area behind the unit. The braai could be better. The drum is balancing on a cement block and you have to be seated to work on it.

Ocean on your doorstep!

Into the Mystic is a well appointed cottage with a spectacular sunset view over the Atlantic. We had supreme calm weather for most of our stay a few days after spring tide, and it was somewhat surreal to have the ocean basically on the doorstep. Paternoster Waterfront is just around the corner with a good selection of restaurants, as well as an art gallery.

Exceptional

The location and view was incredible! The unit was very well appointed with everything you would need for your stay. We loved the fireplace and the hammock. Also lots of candles, gas heater and rechargeable torches to take you through loadshedding. Minerva, Lizelle and Ananda were so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.

Nothing at all. I wish we had booked a longer stay. we will definitely return

Magische mistige plaats inderdaad.

Bijzondere locatie op een natuurlijke pier in zee. Je zit er tussen graniet rotsen en de zee. In nabijheid waren nog 2 andere verblijven die nú verlaten waren. Terrein rondom nog beetje in gebruik voor visserij. Dichtbij winkeltjes en restaurants. ‘s morgens soms mistig.Misschien is de isolatie niet ieders ding. Wij vonden dit best ok. Goed ingericht en Wifi ok.

Al bij al vonden wij de ervaring goed. Wel een rits opmerkingen. Alarm werkt niet goed, blijkbaar al geruime tijd. Vensters sluiten niet overal goed. Ik zou er toch geen gevoelige dingen achterlaten. Een doosje lucifers ter plekke laten kost toch niet veel. Wel vervelend om ‘s morgens te moeten vaststellen dat het gas vuur niet kan aangestoken worden. Een plannetje met de juiste locatie op een A4 ware beter geweest dan een onnauwkeurige mondelinge uitleg.

un lieu unique

la localisation est superbe. les rochers tout autour du logement. Cela fait de ce logement quelque chose d'unique. Equipement de la cuisine parfait en terme de matériel et ingrédients (Il y a sucre, café, sel, poivre, huile et vinaigre...) Pour le reste du logement, il y a tout ce qu'il faut. Tout a été bien pensé par le propriétaire pour le confort du locataire. Il ne manque rien. Soleil sur la terrace du matin au soir.

Un halogène ou éclairage indirect dans le salon serait bienvenue pour que la pièce salon/cuisine soit plus chaleureuse le soir (même si bougies à disposition). Un étendoir et des pinces à linge seraient bienvenus, même si pas de machine à laver. Porte vitrée de la chambre : impossible d'ouvrir les 2 panneaux ( sans avoir peur de casser). communication avec l'agence moyenne : il faut aller à la recherche des informations.

Es war einmal etwas ganz anderes, aber doch recht angenehm und teilweise interessant.

Die Lage direkt am Meer ohne Nachbarn war ganz toll. Absolut ruhig. Komplette Küchenausstattung, sehr gutes W-Lan.

Die Umgebung hinter der Unterkunft war im ersten Augenblick schockierend, alte, zum Teil verfallenen Gebäude einer Fischverarbeitung
