We loved the location of the house, so close to the beach and town center. The house itself is cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and warm. The braai area on the stoep was super.
The indoor fire place got very smokey which carried up to the upstairs bedroom.

The apartment is well equipped in terms of kitchen utensils. Bedding is comfortable. Outside braai area (for summer) is convenient and spacious.
It is currently more suited for a summer breakaway. The inside fireplace could not be used as the whole apartment was under smoke and smelled like smoke (especially upstairs, shared chimney). They did attend to the problem but unfortunately it was not quick and easy to resolve. For this reason it did not completely meet our expectations for a cosy winter breakaway.

The kitchen utensils etc need some upgrading and sorting. There were no microwavew dishes with matching lids. All the mugs,glasses etc were random - nothing matched . The cutlery was sparse and non matching. We battled with the alarm and beams which kept going off randomly.

What's not to like, the house was fully kitted with everything we needed. Stay in Paternoster provide you with all the details to everything. We would go back a 3rd time
