Perfect house with beatifull view of the ocean for a relaxing holiday.

The location is truly brilliant, the views on the ocean from the house were magnificent and very calming. It is walking distance from numerous excellent restaurants.

I was very surprised by the skimping on consumables. For example no coffee , tea , sugar. One bottle of hand soap for two bathrooms, no shower gel, soap, shampoo in the bathrooms. Only one toilet role per bathroom for 5 people for a 5 day stay. These are not high costs items and quite standard nowadays.

Breathtaking Seaview and beach access

Exceptionally beautiful views, the proximity, and access to the beach, shops, and restaurants were perfect! The shape of the shower was interesting in a positive way. The dishwasher is fantastic! Decor in bedrooms are lovely, pillows were good. Love the egg chair.

The furniture needs an upgrade. A minimalist, open, beachy style would be nice. The fridge and kitchen cupboards had a musty smell, so whatever was in there had that smell. The gate and the area directly in front of it were grubby, and unpleasant- open dirty drain, litter, etc. The stairs and pot plants on the side of the house need attention as well..

Great location, walking distance to the beach and many attractions. Beautiful house. There was load shedding, but thanks to the inverter in the house we were still able to use the necessary things. Couldn’t ask for a better view.

stay was good... i think its around 20% overpriced, but enjoyed our stay in general

We Liked the central location and proximity to the sea. We also liked the town as a whole. The house was clean and well kept. The utensils and linen and beds were great

We had locals non residents gaining vehicle access to our commune parking lot. We had terrible noise and some violence during new years We also experienced the dirtiest unsafe beach area in front of our rented home. Many vehicles on the beach at hight speed. People urinating in public not acceptable

Beautiful location! Comfortable beds and well equipped house. Underfloor heating was a bonus as we visited in winter. Would easily book again.

Not much but for the price paid, I’d expect some additional attention to detail in the house eg. No sugar / spices / tea or coffee / not enough toilet paper or cleaning supplies provided. Be sure to pack all essentials when visiting.

Great place!

The views are outstanding! We really enjoyed having the wind breakers so we were still able to be outside enjoying the view. Beds were very comfortable.

Both the kitchen and bathroom sinks were clogged. We were given no dishwasher liquid or dishwasher tablets. We were only given 1 black bag. Wifi did not work.

Authentic Paternoster stay with views and value for money that can't be beaten.

Lovely seaside cottage with all the mod cons including a fireplace, wifi, classy decor, stemware and cutlery. Security with alarm, beams and on-site patrol vehicle for extra peace of mind.

Nothing not to like. Everything was perfect for a quick weekend away.

The location was perfect, many restaurants conveniently within walking distance and the beach a few steps away. We loved it, our little one was thrilled!

The weather hahaha. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we had all we needed and it was cozy and clean. Nothing to be improved on to be honest.

Lekkerlag is baie goed geleë - n paar treë van die strand en binne stapafstand van heerlike eetplekke. Die uitsig op die see is pragtig en die gevoel dat jy tussen vissershuise is, presies wat ons wou hê. Die plek is goed toegerus: braaiplek op die stoep en n kaggel in die woonkamer. Die linne op die beddens was baie mooi en goed versorg. 'n Plek waar vriende of n gesin kan saam kuier en lekker lag!

The views and walking distance to the beach. Good restaurants nearby. Peaceful.

Bedroom mats were all dirty. 1st bathroom shower awkward to use. House not equipped for load shedding - candles in lounge were almost burnt out and lamp had no cable to charge so were of no use. Beds were hard however we understand if they are new. Lounge blankets were all dirty. 1 pillowcase had makeup on. Bed cushion covers were dirty.

We fly from Gauteng. There where not enough toilet paper, so we have to go and buy. The veranda was not clean and some of the cooking utensils also. Otherwise, great location, lovely place to stay over and we enjoy it very much.

Fantastic seaside escape!

This property is in an excellent location. Awesome view, with all the comforts of home! Fabulous bed, hotel quality towels and bedding, and every piece of cutlery or crockery you can think of. Thank you to the owners for being so thoughtful in equipping the house with everything one could need!

The only thing we didn’t like was the noisy neighbours. We came to relax and listen to the ocean, and only the ocean. The neighbours across the way (at least we think it was across the way), had their music playing loudly until well into the evening. This was the only unpleasant thing about our stay. Other things for the owners to perhaps consider: 1. Hand sanitizer to be available in the unit 2. The soap bottles in the bathroom seem to be filled with generic soap and the actual pumps were not too clean 3. There is a damp smell in the main bathroom, may want to have it looked at. Possibly a leak evident by the swelling wood under the hand basin. 4. The blankets packed next to the couch needed a wash. It didn’t smell too fresh. 5. a clean/new braai grid or advise guests to bring their own and braai tools.

Very cosy, comfy, welcoming holiday house. We had a relaxing time at the beach which was 15 seconds away. Thank you for a wonderful time.

I wish there was fire wood when we arrived. We forget to buy some before hand. And that the shutters could open for more natural light. But I understand given how windy it can be there.
