A period hotel with modern touches, in a great location on the sea front with very friendly staff

The staff at the hotel were lovely, so helpful and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, aircon was good and not too noisy. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was nicely presented and some items changed daily. The hotel's location is great, right on the seafront promenade with shops, bars, restaurants and the beach bagnos on the doorstep. The hotel has a deal with Bagno Amedeo where we found the owner to be very friendly, but we went one day to Bagno Belena which is a few doors along as it has outdoor pools which we enjoyed. We arrived from Lake Garda and travelled to Pisa and Lucca by train which are cheap and reliable - the hotel is 15-20 mins walk from the station. A taxi back to Pisa airport arranged by the hotel cost 85 euros.

On arrival I found our room to be on the small side and I was a bit disappointed with the view. I thought the decor was a bit dated but it grew on me during our four night stay. My children in contrast stayed in a triple room which was large and had a lovely mountain view. I didn't like the fact that some of the guests smoked in the outside breakfast area. Not what I wanted to sit near whilst my family ate breakfast.

An extremely pleasant stay

The hotel is very well located across from the sea, it has an imposing, bright building where you feel good from the moment you enter. There is a nice garden for the breakfast, which was excellent, and two more terraces at different levels. Everything is spacious, confortable and very clean and the staff showed special attention to the guests. Compliments to the manager !

We loved everything about the hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff, excellent location (close to the beach, restaurants, shops and a 10-15 minute walk to the train station that connects to Pisa Centrale & Airport), clean comfortable room and amazing breakfasts each morning which we'll sorely miss.

A beautiful hotel , with welcoming happy and helpful staff.

The hotel was well maintained, immaculately clean and maintained many of its original features. The location was perfect worth being 15 - 30 mins walk from the train station as it was in a great part of town.

It is a small property with updated lobby area, both in and outside seating for breakfast. The staff was amazing, both from reception and breakfast room. the location is just perfect.
