Ive been coming to and living in Bali for 30+ years. My first negative review.
Actually I am still in the hotel but looking to move . We booked and paid over 6 months ago only on arrival to be told that the family suite we booked due to a system error had been given to somewhere else but Ill explain whats really happening. These clowns advertise on diff booking sites with good prices. They then as us give you the same system excuse and in some other cases have cancelled and make you book again at an inflated rate.
So we were told no family suites available yet they still have free rooms for our dates on booking sites?? There are also multiple entries on booking .com showing different prices on diff profiles for the same dates. Looking at reviews this has been happening over 9 months.
Other guests were reporting too front desk that they did not get what they booked either or their online adds were deceptive.
So 2 of our 6 rooms are ok.
The other 4 rooms have aircons that work poorly and dont cool.
2 of these 4 rooms have mould build up.
3 of the rooms have fridges that dont cool.
One of our friends went and purchased a pedestal fan at 9pm last night to keep them cool whilst they slept and we now have three. Despite the promises to move room we are almost at the end of our stay and only 1 has occured.
One other went and bought ice and esky as have to keep medicines cool.
Approached front desk. No manager on duty at 9.30am.
Explained as were advised yesterday that there were multiple people checking out today that we could move to those rooms. Have agreeance but been to bali often enough that that does not neccesarily lead to action. We will see. Based on previous reviews I am not hopeful bit will amend this review if fixed. This has not changed.
My next steps will be to speak to the Bali tourism minister who is a personal friend of my business partner loaded with evidence about what appears to be systematic scamming not a system error that is still occuring over 9 months later.

Swimming pool (it was not broken down as it did in my previous stay in May)
The reception staff was very helpful eg. was kind enough to assist me to print some emergency flight documents
1) Did not provide the twin room as requested on the booking made - I found this very disappointing
2) Room was not cleaned to a satisfactory standard eg. previous guest towel was not removed after cleaning the room
3) Overhead lighting (stairs) was blinking throughout the whole stay which was not replaced - poor maintenance. So safety was compromised when negotiating the stairs at night especially for those with poorer visual ability eg. older people.
4) A 2nd key card was not issued when there were two guest staying in the room (it is standard practice to issue two key cards at other overseas hotels stayed for convenience)
5) An sewage odour appears to hang around between the reception building and the hotel room building, same situation back in May
6) A very low importance placed upon maintenance/resolving the issue of the lack of hot water - there was no sense of urgency - had to wait until the following day, hence unable to have a hot shower in the late afternoon/evening - very disappointing/poor attitude towards the meaning of hospitality

Location, nice hotel, nice pool, first stay had a refillable drinker which is great to see to reduce the plastic use in Bali! Rooms fine, comfortable. Little fridge. Happy no problems really.

We stayed for 29 nights and enjoyed the experience. The staff were very accomodating.
We had a top floor twin room and the mattresses were new and comfortable.
The breakfast had five choices from the Soul in a Bowl restaurant and were always beautifully presented.
The towels were sometimes very grey and thin. The staff could usually find better towels if you requested.
There were several issues with the lack of hot water, but this seemed to be fixed by the end of our stay.

Did not like anything about this hotel was horrible. We booked for 2 night with 2 separate rooms and left after the 1st night and booked elsewhere. All reception said was oh sorry did not offer any assistance.
Bathroom flooded when we had a shower with dirty water coming up the drain, pool was dirty couldn't swim in it, blood on the sheets and walls, shower mouldy, smelly rooms.

Location of the hotel was good, right next to the coworking space and a short walk from the beach. It was also next to a Circle K mart and pharmacy. There were good food options nearby.
The room looked like it hadn't been cleaned since they opened. The bedsheets were stained with blood and other mysterious bodily fluids, I asked them to change the pillows and they were only slightly better. On the first day the handle of my shower came off and then towards the end of my stay the hot water ran out and the staff couldn't fix it. Also on one night the roof started dripping right over the toilet. The staff were quite useless which I think is more of a resourcing issue than their ability to help.
