Some attention needed but modern and spacious

Modern, spacious, underfloor heating was great, lovely host and welcome treats

Starting to show a small lack of attention (tiles chipped, grouting missing and dirty in places) TV may be a great size, but there are very little working channels, for it to cater to six people - there isn’t a lot of seating in the living room - it would be rather cramped, bedroom blinds are thin and ill fitting (if staying in summer the rooms would be very bright very early) curtains added would make a great improvement (there were a very spots of mildew on bottom corners of blinds) having no blinds or curtains in the main living area made the room feel quiet exposed and there was no control over sunlight entering the room, the extractor looks out of place along with cooker - makes the kitchen look unfinished, drains need attention as there is a strong smell coming from them and they are slow to clear water, there should be the option for more than 1 pillow each, not sure why there is a log burner that you can’t use?, heating in main room doesn’t really work I think there should be an overhaul and detailed clean and fix up to make the property truly amazing

This is a stylish and well designed property that engages the mix of old and new to produce a property full of character whilst being very functional.

This is a remote property which is ideal as long as you are prepared, you will need a car although the owners are more than kind and hospitable so no doubt there will be options for transport.

Warm and welcoming place to stay

Beautifully refurbished building showing the true character of the old Haggard. Hosts were fantastic and house was well equipped. Close to Castleblaney town yet located in a quiet and private location. Highly recommend!

A very nice, quiet and relaxing stay.

We were there as a family of four, and it was very spacious and quiet and comfortable. The owner, Tommy was very helpful and went out of his way to help us have a very good time and organise activities.

The Wi-Fi was very slow.

Exceptional

Spacious and richly equipped apartment in a amazing rural area. The host is one of the kindest and most helpfull person I've ever seen, if you have any problem you can text/call him and you can be sure that it will be solved. You won't find anything better for a better price.

The apartment is quite far from the center of the town, it's a far distance to walk.
