It was clean cozy and comfy the pub downstairs has excellent guiness and warm friendly staff. a pretty little village and excellent value for money host was quick to answer communications everything you need is there shower gel towels and the bits available for breakfast toast ceral orange juice milk butter jam tea and coffee were great we only spent one night but I would definitely return again if ever staying in dundalk very happy customers the little shop off the pub has bits you might like . Bed was warm and comfy and the little book explaing the history of the building was nice to read 5 stars all round

Nothing negative to say I noted other reviews mentioned noise from the pub we didn't notice it but we had a few drinks and games of pool in the pub before bed so wasn't an issue for us

It was great overall! One of us was gluten-free and as breakfast was provided, they kindly bought a gluten-free loaf and were very accommodating. The location was very handy for Darver Castle, where we were attending a wedding. The owner was lovely and very pleasant. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. We would definitely stay again!

We have stayed here before so we knew how charming it was. Paddy is very friendly and welcoming and the property is spotless and extremely comfortable.

The takeaway next door was closed for summer holidays and we were starving, not having eaten since breakfast on the ferry, but that just meant a 4km drive to the next village for a takeaway.
