Amazing place in every thing

It is an amazing place with a lovely Con he is so friendly and helpful we didn't need anything to buy There was bread, milk, jam, corn flakes,oat, butter,tea and coffee It was a lovely and very clean place I asked for an extra bed as I thought it would not fit us 2 adults and 2 kids But the bed and the sofa bed was really enough he didn't charge me for the extra bed It is very big with everything you need toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, hair spray and hair gel It is very big and comfortable and anytime I am coming to Dundulk I will stay there Thanks so much for everything Con

Fantastic apartment, stayed here for a wedding in Darver Castle, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The host was great even going to the trouble of giving us a lift to the venue, 100% recommend

The hosts were welcoming and explained everything to me. I highly recommend The Village Rooms.

It was large, clean and inviting. There was a nice selection of breakfast foods and the fridge was stocked with juice milk and butter.

I did not know how to use the coffee machine.

Very pleased with this accommodation

Very clean appartment, very comfy beds and couch. Wi Fi was patchy. No issues at all contacting host. Washing machine was not in the appartment itself but accessible. Quiet. Great to have OJ, milk, butter in fridge, cereals, jam. tea and coffee supplied. No difficulties, nice break.

Unfortunately the bed in apartment 2 wasn’t very comfortable and every time we moved it made a noise so I’m afraid we didn’t get much sleep

Very lovely stay, would come again.

Our first stop bikepacking from Dublin to Edinburgh. We were surprised at how large the place was, nice little backyard where we could relax after the day riding. Great to be able to get a beer from next door as well. We cooked up a delicious meal using the kitchen.

We cooked pasta, would have loved a to drain the pasta in a colander. This was such a minor thing, otherwise a perfect kitchen to cook food in.

Beautiful, spacious and well maintained with a very nice host.

We booked two apartments and the two apartments were absolutely beautiful and clean. We had everything we could ask for and could need. They were both very very spacious and well maintained. It was almost perfect.

The only thing we did not like was that it was above a bar and we could hear the noise from our room very easily. Now I must say that we go to bed early and rise early so if you don't go to bed early this should not be a problem. This was only a very small problem but maybe on a weekend it could be worse

Really enjoyed the apartment, layout and facilities and enjoyed the pub, pool table and the local chipper . Would stay a

Layout was lovely, furnishings excellent and great fitted out kitchen with coffee machine

The noise is unavoidable in the sitting room sofa bed especially if unused to traffic in the mornings as we were. The bedroom may benefit from a heavy rug to muffle the pub voices but it’s only for a short time depending on your timescale.

Lovely room on the countryside

Very cozy place away from tourists that feels more like staying at a friends place than in rental room. Mac was very welcoming and made sure we can check-in after midnight. Thanks for the great start of our Ireland tour.

Comfy stay in Knockbridge

Clean and spacious flat with comfy beds (including the sofa bed in the living room). Great shower. A lovely breakfast was provided of cereal and jam on toast, and the coffee machine was a nice bonus.

The pub below was slightly noisy in the night, but we did stay on a Friday so to be expected.

Lovely apartment

Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The bar downstairs and chip shop round the corner were great. There is a shop nearly next door, sadly not open when we were there as it was Easter Monday, so everything you could want is within yards.

I could only find extremely minor faults and it would really be nit-picking to mention them. They didn't impact our enjoyment of the stay one iota.

Great facilities, can ask for keys at bar downstairs, great staff and very friendly. Great decor, bathrooms and kitchen up to date, plenty of space and great atmosphere. Beds were comfy too. Beer garden out the back to sit in.

A beautiful apartment with suburb facilities

A spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated apartment . It had all the facilities you could want with convenient parking. The host was very friendly and the kitchen was stocked with basic foodstuffs (bread, milk, cereals, etc) which had not been advertised ... a very welcome surprise.

Absolutely lovely, clean, perfect, home from home feel place to stay. The bed sheets were spotless

Finding the place wasn’t a problem as we followed Sat Nav. When we arrived we did wondered where we should go to get a key? To feel our way we decided to go into the attached bar have a drink and meet some locals. The atmosphere in the bar was relaxed and friendly we really liked this place. The girl behind the bar handed us the key.. We could not fault the apartment it was spotless and perfect for our stay and a great location

We think the outside let down the inside of the apartment, it could be made to reflect the clean charm and be better maintained.

Exceeded expectations!!

I had a wonderful stay at the village rooms, as a solo female traveller I felt safe and secure in this light-filled accommodation. Beautiful spacious living area and kitchen, amazing water pressure in the shower which was lovely and very cosy bedding! Could not speak more highly of this stay. The location was perfect and the host was very kind.
