An extremely peaceful setting not too far from bars, restaurants, beaches and such, but still remote enough for that peace and tranquility we sometimes desire. The Valley Inn just down the road has the friendliest proprietor, staff, patrons and the food is just wow.. best steak I’ve ever had and I’m a fussy foodie….
No live tv channels was a minor inconvenience but the smart tv with Netflix etc as an alternative was plenty good enough.

I absolutely adored our stay here. The grounds were like stepping back into the early 1800s. The views of the expansive fields framed the majestic horses…if you have a love of immersing yourself back in time, this place will make you smile! Like all old things, it is quirky. It is still a working farm and it’s trying to expand into the guest lodging world.
The 2 bedroom suites are spacious and well appointed. The 2 bedrooms are separated perfectly by the kitchen, living room area, giving guests a little separation.
The guest accommodations is a new venture, so don’t expect perfection but for the quality of the space and the magnificence of the property, it is 100% worth every penny and I would recommend to all my friends. Think rustic working farm with very nice self-service accommodation.
Be sure to take a tour of Rokeby House next door, the grounds, gardens, and the host is happy to share the history of the property.
