Our stay was ruined at 1am by a party being held in a building on the property! Not happy!

It is first worth noting that the booking.com property page states this accommodation has 2 bedrooms with a double bed in each, along with 2 sofa beds in the living room. This is incorrect. There is one double bed, 1 room with 2 single beds, and no sofa beds. This was a slight hiccup as we had a foster child who needed to sleep separately. Property details state no extra beds can be made available so we didn't ask for one and worked around the issue. The big issue we had was that we were all woken at approximately 1am, 1st by the dog downstairs barking, but I then heard voices outside the property. I got dressed and made my way outside to find 1 girl running across the garden to a barn or outbuilding (within the same grounds as our accommodation) then 2 other ladies, who could barely stand, one carrying a drink. Then 2 gentlemen arrived in a car, parked up, and they proceeded across the garden while shouting and hollering to the same outbuilding, from which we could also hear loud music playing. This continued to keep us up until roughly 3.30am. Its very clear on the property conditions that no parties are allowed. Obviously that doesn't include the barn/outbuilding in the same garden! Which is completely unacceptable for those of us who were paying guests looking for a quiet night before leaving Ireland! We left early the following morning so did not speak to the hosts with our grievances. I raised these issues with Booking.com on my return to the UK and contacted Toni at the property also. To be told they "can't help it if there is noise outside" and if I am looking for free accommodation its "not happening"! Quite a disgusting attitude frankly, as its not about the money. Its about the fact we were woken in the night, in what is advertised as a peaceful quiet place, by some form of party/gathering in the same grounds as our accommodation, so yes, You could have absolutely controlled what was going on during the night!!

Loved the accomodation, ideally suited to Seagrave Barns, only ten minutes away.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and the bedrooms and bathrooms were first rate. Easy to get in and nice and quiet! Would recommend highly.

Excellent facilities, easy check in. Beautiful place to stay. Very very nice and we enjoyed it a lot.

Door was hard to lock and there were no sharp knives to prepare food.

Great family accommodation.

Great accommodation for a family of two adults and two children. The host Toni was very friendly and welcoming. Also great to have two bathrooms for the family.

False advertisement

Nice pictures and dog

Advertised as “whole place to yourself” when just downstairs is an elderly couple. Was a little surprised that there was people in the property when it stated that the whole place is for myself.

Great overnight stop for us 😊

We were later than our planned arrival time. Toni was very accommodating and even helped with our luggage. Great bathrooms and comfy beds. Very nice overnight transit stop for us before heading north.

Such a lovely accommodation with the sweetest doggie

Lovely hosts left us supplies of tea coffee etc. went above and beyond for our stay. Rooms were fab and had bits for us to use like shower and toiletries. Would 100% be back again

Quiet area

The gorgeous little terrier dog who loved to play fetch

Stairs that we weren’t aware of, the ensuite shower head that wouldn’t stay up and sprayed water towards the door. No soap holders shampoo had to be placed on the floor. Bedside light not working . No milk in fridge for a cup of tea had to drive a number of kms to purchase. Had we known could have picked it up in Drogheda. We had heavy luggage that was difficult for a 81, 75, 72, 70 year old to drag up the steep stairs. No name on the front of the property to identify we were at the correct property.

Lovely home, friendly dog!

The space was very comfy and spacious. The treats on arrival were a lovely touch. It was also great that we were able to bring out dog. It was a lovely weekend away after a difficult week. <3

The first step is big...be careful! We struggled to figure out how to turn on the heat, but Toni had left tons of electric heaters, so we used those instead (I didn't ask Toni about the heating, so I won't give out about it!).

Extremely comfortable and good value for money. Highly recommended this homely apartment.

Very clean and cosy apartment. Beds are so comfortable. Bread, Milk, Coffee and Tea left by the owner was very useful in the morning. Plenty of towels, cosy rugs and lamps added a very homely touch.

Google map didn’t take the GPS to the right place, so had to ask around from few people.

Schöner Aufenthalt in komfortabler Wohnung

Ruhige Wohnung auf dem Land, sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Durch die Schlüsselbox konnten wir sehr flexibel anreisen. Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hatte netterweise auch Butter, Milch und einige kleine Leckereien bereitgestellt. An beiden Abenden, die wir vor Ort waren, fuhren wir zu einem schönen Strand bzw. Hafen, die nur wenige Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt lagen. Tagsüber waren wir im spektakulären Boyne Valley.
