Attended a wedding at the nearby Darver Castle, nothing was any hassle, was so close to the venue, met the host on arrival. She provided me with taxi numbers for later on that night if I needed, lovely clean tidy property and had a mighty sleep 🙌 would definitely stay again

quiet and simple rooms, access to kitchen to prepare your own breakfast (all foods provided)
would have preferred a kettle in the room and maybe a TV to catch the news

Breakfast was "Do it yourself". Everything you could possibly want for breakfast was provided. The hostess was very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The house was furnished to a very high classical standard. It would be impossible to get better. The bathroom was huge. I cannot speak too highly of this house. As my daughter would say , it was "well posh", but also homely. Probably the nicest stay I've had anywhere. Well worth the money.
The location is slightly off the beaten track. I've marked the location down slightly to emphasise the exceptional things about this house. In reality there was nothing I didn't like about my stay here.

Good value for money. Comfortable bed, quiet location, easy parking. Plenty of food available.
Felt a bit more like an upmarket hostel with shared bathrooms etc making your own breakfast was also a little out of the ordinary.
