It was authentic and clean. Everything you needed was there for a lovely night or two get away. The hot tub was amazing but very hot!! 🥵 absolutely loved watching tv and playing board games with our children while the fire was burning. We will definitely return.

No blinds on the window. Downstairs mattress is extremely hard, but my kids brought their own duvets so they made it cozy.

Have stayed in similar cottages, which we also loved, this is slightly bigger but still very traditional, exactly what we hoped for.
