Would stay again, with lighter luggage

The bed was comfortable and the location was very convenient. Loved that they had netflix, The washing machine was a nice added touch. The host was very responsive.

There's a weird smell that always lingers in the bathroom. A fridge for a long stay wouldve been really helpful. The walk up the 3 flights of stairs with heavy suitcases was a bit hard, the staircase it really narrow as well.

Bed was good the contact was helpfull

The main problem was the getting access, second the contact number for the place was wrong, after a long day travelling it was very annoying When finally got contact Gino was helpfull

The top shower where it is fixed to the wall is loose, if not attended it will break. The smell from the shower was so bad we had to to run water in to it and place the fan in position to expel the stench

Perfect home from home

Great room with everything you need. Beds were comfortable and it was perfect with a TV & fan in the evenings. Location was handy - close to the train station and lots of shops/ restaurants. Easy to get into the building once you locate the door.

Very peaceful with a good balance of fun!

The location is amazing perfect blend of peaceful town with shopping options, plenty of food places and then at night a good range of bars and pubs right in your door step a nice escape for the centre of Amsterdam.

Some of the facilities were broken such as the toilet button, it was useable but kept falling off. Air conditioning or a fan would have been great as the room got quite stuff even with the window open and maybe a mosquito net over the bed or window (but that’s being very picky just slap some bug repellant on and you’ll be fine) be careful if it’s late and you go to the local corner shop near the ice cream parlour, the shop does not have prices and the shop keeper will charge you whatever he feels like it especially if he thinks you’ve been drinking he tried to charge us 44 euro for 2 packs of biscuits, water a can of coke and some sweets

A good spot for a few night's stay in Brussels!

Nice big room, staff were very nice and cleaned daily. Being what looked like a converted old house gave it some character too! Good location also - about 5 minutes walk from Rogier bus terminal and 10 minutes walk from Grand Place.

Once you check in, it has a self service model with no staff at reception. Vending machine out of order but plenty of shops nearby.

Just Ok

Clean and tidy, close to town. Was great to have access to a washing machine. Pretty good shower. We had the top floor so the pub noise didn't bother us too much. Well heated. Super comfy beds.

Very difficult to check in due to the requirements to pay city tax before we could get the door code. This wouldnt work as the link didnt connect, so this was a real drama.There's no sign on the door, so very tricky to find. Needs a sign please. Super steep stairs up to the room, needs a fridge and proper mugs rather than paper cups. TV didn't work.

Very good

Loved the self sufficiency of the place, great for a getaway where you dont want to interact with many people! The room was decorated to a good standard, nice and warm too. The location is perfect, close enough to local amenities and streets are quiet. Highly reccomend.

The shower had issues draining, and the tv didnt have signal, small leak on window sill. A mini refrigerator would have been nice but not essential.

The room wasn't cleaned before our arrival. There were hairs and dust all over in the bathroom and also hair and also skin flakes in the sheets.

Superb

The location was perfect, the room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. The staff abswered our questions quickly (per chat). Check-in was easy. Near the hotel were different restaurants and it was about 10 minutes away from the train station Zandaam.

The windows were not very soundproof because they‘re old. But it was no big issue.

Bed wantsen & verstikkende hitte.

Het uitzicht en de locatie.

De douche wou niet schakelen van de in-hand douchekop naar de regendouche. Kamer was bloed verziekend heet toen we aankwamen, voelde meer als een sauna dan een normale kamer. Bed wantsen in kamer 2. hier kwamen wij achter toen wij gingen slapen. verschrikkelijk! Partner ook meerdere keren gebeten.

Zeer matig hotel.

De douche en toilet waren schoon.

Toegang tot hotel met code lukte niet, bij het telefoonnummer bellen krijg je mensen aan de telefoon die doen aan huurwoningen toe kennen, hotel is niets van bekend.... Gelukkig na kloppen op de voordeur deed de dame die de kamers schoonmaakt open maar wist verder van niets. Uiteindelijk na veel proberen via mail een code gekregen van onze kamer, het voelde niet oké. Eenmaal binnen met veel moeite een raam open gekregen, en bleek dat het bed één groot springveren matras had die overal in de lijf prikte. De douche was schoon maar de handdoeken roken niet fris, eerder heel muf! Voordeel je zit dichtbij de stad.

Mooi gebouw en fijne ligging, maar onvoldoende schoon en lastig contact.

De locatie was lekker centraal, wat erg fijn was. Het bed lag comfortabel en de gang is mooi ingericht met sfeervolle tegeltjes, een leuke binnenkomst.

Bij aankomst bleek er geen parkeerplek beschikbaar, wat vooraf niet duidelijk was beschreven. De tv kregen we niet aan de praat en ook de wifi werkte in eerste instantie niet. We hebben hierover meerdere berichtjes gestuurd, maar kregen geen reactie. Pas na telefonisch contact kregen we gelukkig een ander wifi-wachtwoord dat wél werkte. De kamer was helaas niet schoon: er zat schimmel in de douche en het was behoorlijk stoffig. Jammer, want met wat meer aandacht zou het verblijf een stuk prettiger zijn geweest.

Vieze kamer, je kon schrijven op de vaas, Witte sokken waren buin na lopen op de vloer. Ramen konden niet open (31°C). Hele vieze badkamer met veel kalkaanslag en tandpasta-resten en schimmel op de vloer . Voor 2 personen toeristenbelasting moeten betalen voordat ik naar binnen kon, terwijl ik alleen was.

Wifi. Van Ziggo maar ik heb KPN lukte niet. Deur onderstrip kapot. Buitendeur stond open. Auto te ver moeten parkeren. Geen airco, ja een fan maar niet voldoende. Je kan de ramen niet open doen.

Rampzalig

Wij hadden een kamer geboekt voor zaterdag 15 juni. Per e-mail digitale sleutel ontvangen. De voordeur van het pand openenen lukte. Maar toegang tot de kamer niet. Diverse keren gebeld, er werd niet opgenomen. Sta je daar met je koffer! Naar een ander hotel in Zaandam gelopen waar nog een kamer beschikbaar was. De Kade hadden we vooruit betaald, maar we hebben er dus niet kunnen overnachten. Nog een mail nagestuurd. Ook geen reactie. Weg € 100,00.
