Locatie was ideaal! Midden in het centrum, en vanaf het station makkelijk te vinden. Het hotel was echt prachtig, een mooi oud gebouw wat helemaal gerenoveerd is. Mooie oude details zijn behouden, maar alles was in een nieuw jasje gegoten. De kamer zelf was ook top! Goed bed, mooie badkamer, en ruimte om onze twee koffers neer te leggen. Voor deze prijs echt een ideaal plekje in hartje Zaandam!
Het enige wat ons opviel is dat de afzuiging in de badkamer niet heel sterk was. Als wij achter elkaar wilde douchen, droop het water van het plafond. Niet heel storend, maar wel iets om rekening mee te houden als je bijv elektronica in de badkamer kwijt wilt!

It's an aesthetically very pleasing hotel. The building is beautiful, and so is the room. It's all completely new and modern too. So all of this combined gives the hotel a premium feel, which is very nice. The check-in process was very easy too.
As it's a new hotel, I think it's still experiencing some growing pains, which I hope they work out because they definitely have the potential to be an excellent boutique hotel.
My room was not cleaned / bed was not made during my 2-night stay, even though their information says that every day at least the bed will be made. So that somehow didn't happen.
I asked for an iron, but the hotel doesn't have any, which was surprising to me as I feel an iron is kind of a non-negotiable facility for a decent hotel to have, since any traveller arrives with clothes packed in suitcases.
Additionally, it would be nice if the rooms had a little fridge/minibar.
If small details like these are fixed/upgraded, this could truly be a premium hotel experience, so I'm rooting for them :)

Résidence idéalement située à Zaandam. Chambre joliment décorée, très propre et équipée d une machine nespresso, bouilloire et eau. Literie très confortable ! Pas d accueil, tout se fait avec des codes mais très bonne communication avec l établissement !

Clean and modern.
I was disappointed that there was no iron or hair dryer as these are standard items that are available at most hotels/boutiques.
The heating function was also really difficult to navigate and in the end we gave up trying to turn on the heating function.
A door on the bathroom would have been great.
A long or even short mirror in the main room would have also been great.
