Wonderful stay in Paternoster

The property is very well equipped with everything you might need — including Wi-Fi. There are three lovely outdoor entertaining areas, so you can choose the best spot depending on the weather (and wind), and wood was thoughtfully provided. The main bedroom features a king-size bed, while the second room has twin beds — both are en-suite, which makes it very comfortable. It’s just a short walk straight onto the beach, offering easy access while still being tucked away from the busier side of Paternoster. Communication around arrival and departure was seamless via WhatsApp, and access was simple through a lockbox. Thank you, Theresa — we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and would absolutely recommend it to anyone heading to Paternoster.

My only consideration would be for those travelling with younger children, as there is a glass cabinet and a fairly steep staircase that may require a bit of extra supervision.

Relaxing and charming home from home for those wanting to chillax.

Lovely house, and home from home, had all the kitchen and braai utensils anyone would need. It was also so kind of the owner to leave, coffee,tea,and oil plus washing up liquid. Lots of outside space in shade and sun with plenty of seating. So close to the beach and walking distance to Waterfront and restaurants, no need to take a car. We just loved this well positioned and very comfortable house. Would highly recommend and hopefully we will return for a longer stay. We have high expectations and this house met them. Host very attentive and helpful.

Amazing stay at Bougain Villa

The host communicated very well and the place was fully equipped and comfortable. It had a lovely sea view and the beach is just a few minutes away.Definitely one of the best accommodations in Paternoster.

Wonderful stay at Bougain Villa.

We had a wonderful stay at Bougain Villa in Paternoster. The cottage is beautiful, clean, neat, tidy, and very spacious, with absolutely everything you could possibly need for a comfortable self-catering holiday. The location is perfect — just a short walk down the pathway and you’re right on the beach. The host was friendly, communicative, and very helpful whenever we needed assistance. Directions, as well as check-in and check-out instructions, were clear and convenient, making the whole experience completely stress-free. We truly had a lovely time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended, and we would happily return.

What an incredible find. This is an extremely well presented and equipped cottage with everything that you need and more. Plenty of outdoor space including a private sheltered courtyard with BBQ facilities and a cool outdoor shower with hot water for when you come back from the beach, which is a moment away from the cottage. Almost everything is provided for. The hosts are friendly and efficient without making you feel like you are being monitored. if you are coming in a small group that would like to make the most of outdoor spaces without being looked upon, then this is the place for you.

I have to dig deep to find things I did not like as it is as great property, Lounge area has a slightly awkward layout with the TV mounted high above the enormous fireplace. I can imagine the fireplace being the star attraction on cool winter evenings. To be honest we hardly sat inside because of the amazing outdoor spaces that this place has to offer.

Wo sollen wir anfangen: Es war zusammenfassend die schönste Unterkunft auf unserer Reise! Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Kommunikation mit Theresa per Whatsapp war sehr unkompliziert und sie hat immer sehr schnell reagiert. Sie hat sogar bei unserer Anreise noch Wärmedecken und Holz für den Kamin rüberbringen lassen, da es noch etwas kalt in der Nacht wurde. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet mit vielen kleinen liebenswerten Details. Es ist eine voll und gut ausgestattete Küche (das durften wir in unserer Zeit in Südafrika auch anders erleben). Die beiden Schlafzimmer, jeweils mit abgetrennten Bad und Toilette sind in der zweiten Etage. Das Haus liegt etwa 50m vom Ozean entfernt - dieser ist über einen Gang zwischen den Villen (siehe Bilder) sehr schnell zu erreichen. Das Objekt hat eine Sicherheitsanlage und es gibt einen Sicherheitsdienst. Wir haben uns zu keiner Zeit unsicher gefühlt. Parken direkt an der Villa, auch mit einem größeren Fahrzeug (siehe Bilder). Es gibt einen Vorhof (auch sehr schön zum Sitzen und Entspannen) und sogar noch einen Innenhof mit Grillplatz und sogar Pizzaofen ;o). Zum Zentrum ist es auch nocht sehr weit. Die Marina im Hafen ist zu empfehlen - gute Restaurants, ein paar Lädchen und Kultur. Es gibt eine Tankstelle und einen kleinen Supermarkt. Zudem noch einige Shops mit Souveniren und Kunstgegenständen auf dem Weg hin zur Marina. Also vielen Dank Theresa für den sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Paternoster!
