The Barn

Great location, although the parking outside in the yard may prove more difficult for those with larger cars. The house was perfrctly sized, rooms were clean and comfortable. We spent time at The Barn during a very hot period but the barn was cool and comfortable so it was perfect (although id expect in the cooler months it may feel a bit chilly). Overall though, a lovely, quiet, comfortable stay for a girls relaxed catch up.

Our only negatives are that there are way too many air fresheners in the property - they were overpowering and unpleasant. The downstairs was also very dusty under the sofas and the floor needs a good clean - our feet were black at end of day one.

Some parts of the bathroom were a little run down House didn't smell very nice on arrival - but was fine once we'd got the door open etc

Mooi ruim huis, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Stranden en wandelgebieden in de omgeving.

Place was great after it was cleaned!

When we arrived tired at 6.00pm the place had not been cleaned after previous users, which was very disappointing. I had to telephone to try to sort it out. Cleaners were then organised to come in about half an hour or so. We waited for them to arrive and then we went out for 1 1/2 hours wandering the town's closed shops, when we really wanted to be relaxing and eating our supper! The cleaners did do a grand job and were pleasant. They were just loading up to leave as we arrived back. So this was not a good start to our much needed, short two night relaxing break away.
