We were basing our few days in Suffolk mainly at Minsmere, a fifteen minute drive away. Within easy driving distance of Chez Ana are Southwold, Aldeburgh, Thorpness, Snape, Orford and Framlingham. So Saxmundham was a great location. The home itself was in a very quiet estate right on the edge of Saxmundham meaning evening walks were right on the doorstep. Chez Ana is a B&B. Breakfast was simple but very good. If there is anything additional to her standard offerring, don't be afraid to ask; I can't guarantee you'll get it, but asking is OK. Ana herself is a joy to stay with, always up for a cuppa and a natter.

It was a heatwave. Ana, great though she is when it comes to customer service, sadly cannot control the weather (I would like to put a Smiley here, but Booking's system doesn't seem to want to let me)

The house is spotless and so beautifully decorated it's a lovely place to be. A lot of thought had gone into providing everything you need for a stay.Breakfast was good and the location gave us easy access to all of the spots on the Suffolk coast we had time to explore. Our host was so helpful to us in making the most of our stay and it was easy to come and go as we needed. Parking at the property made things easy.

Perhaps the breakfast could have a few more savoury options. However, we always found something nice and something nutricious to eat each morning. A 10 am depeature is a little earlier than some guest houses but wasn't a problem for us.

Very clean house. Comfortable bed. Nice large bath towels. Thoughtful bottles of water, earplugs. Parking free. Quiet neighbourhood. Owner pleasant and polite.

Small room in shared house. Shared bathroom- ad said separate bathroom, otherwise I wouldn't have booked it. Shared drink making facilities. Small room. £40 charge for my dog, which I refused to pay as I considered the while set up overcharged. I was offered a refund if I wanted to leave but as it's bank holiday everywhere else was booked up. Didn't stay for breakfast.
