The property was very clean, and of a good standard. A comfortable bed and nice big bathroom. It has a decent garden ideal for taking dog away. The pub serves excellent food and the staff are wonderful. The owner checked in to check all ok and explained bbq removed due to the wild fires which is understandable. We had taken bbq food with us which she kindly said the pub would cook for us. Location is excellent and very quiet, very easy to get to Southwold, Minsmere, Orford, Thorpeness and Aldeburgh which we managed during our stay.

Overall not much to fault, if picky would suggest a parasol and cushions for garden furniture as it was a sun trap.

Great pub, excellent self catering rooms but pub iffers superb food. Brilliant location for Latitude festival and Suffolk ciast. Very quiet. Staff very friendly and welcoming.

Good location. Great pub next door for dining with very helpful staff.

Property poorly maintained. Front door hard to open, loudly scraping the floor. Reported on first day but nothing done. One of the patio doors extremely difficult to close. Outdoor decking very shabby, dirty and felt insecure. Window latch in bathroom not properly secured. Room very hot at night with only a small table fan provided.
