Palazzo Cecchi Florentine Apartment

La posizione è perfetta, centralissima, vicino a tutto e, nonostante questo, tranquillissima. L’appartamento è enorme e veramente comodo per una famiglia numerosa. Ci è piaciuta molto l’idea di “casa”, non la solita struttura anonima (tutte uguali) ma una casa vera. Questo è un punto di forza perché cambia la percezione dell’intera visita alla città facendoti sentire parte e non ospite. Qualcosa è migliorabile (vedi next).

Alcuni suggerimenti affinché il soggiorno sia perfetto. In primis, va messa la macchinetta per fare il caffè e fornire le cialde. Abbiamo dovuto utilizzare una moka abbastanza datata con scarsissimi risultati. Inoltre va ammodernato l’impianto elettrico (alcune prese non sono utilizzabili, abbiamo fatto la caccia al tesoro per mettere in carica tutti i dispositivi elettronici). I problemi tecnici avuti sono stati subito attenzionati e non hanno impattato in modo sostanziale il nostro soggiorno, ma vanno ammodernati gli impianti di condizionamento.

Wasmachine lekte, water van onderuit. Er werden wel gelijk nieuwe handboeken gebracht.

Es ist ein phantastisches Apartment in einem alten Palazzo, auf 2 Stockwerken (mit Innenstiege), ein Balkon unten, 2 Terrassen oben, wunderbare Aussicht, ein sehr großer Salon mit Wohnzimmer unten, in der Küche Designermöbel aus den 1960er-Jahren und alles, was man braucht, ein 2. Salon oben, 3 Schlafzimmer auf die Gasse, 2 Badezimmer, wunderschöne, kultivierte Einrichtung, Bibliothek, Antiquitäten, Gemälde, alles äußerst geschmackvoll, ein Glück, dass man in so einer Wohnung bleiben darf, man atmet die Kultur dieser Stadt! Ein kleiner holzgetäfelter Lift führt in den 3. Stock, wo der Eingang zur Wohnung liegt. Die Lage ist zentral, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Paolo hat trotz Verspätung auf mich gewartet und mir alles gezeigt.

Unten im Haus ist eine Bar, vor der oft lange in der Nacht gefeiert wird. Die Ausstattung, vor allem der Bäder, ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, einige Dinge dort sollten erneuert werden.

The apartment is very dirty and unmaintained. There is mold on the walls. It is terribly dusty, old and smelly. I am also attaching photos of the moldy walls in the kitchen and one of the bedrooms. Terrible host! Arrogant and inaccurate! He said he couldn't check us in at 3pm, which is the starting time for checking into the apartment, and that he would come at 3:30pm. We waited for him until 4pm! It's very noisy! The windows are so old and worn out that you can hear everything from the street. You can't sleep at all.
