We stayed in the loft on the top floor and it was absolutely stunning. High ceilings with original frescoes, huge windows with classic shutters, and an incredibly stylish pink velvet sofa created an atmosphere where you just want to stop time. It is the perfect place to feel the spirit of old Italy while enjoying modern minimalist comfort. Staying in a place where contemporary art is being created in the next room, while the walls remember the 16th century - it’s a truly unique experience.
But what made our stay really special was Annika. Her kindness and genuine care won us over from the very first minute. She was so worried about us carrying our suitcases up to the 4th floor and was always available on WhatsApp, ready to help with any question.
A special thank you to Annika for being so thoughtful: when she found out we were hoping for eggs at breakfast by mistake (even though they weren’t on the menu), she prepared them for us the very next morning. Thanks to her, we felt right at home - it’s that rare feeling when you know someone is looking out for you.
Numeroventi is a place with a soul. We are leaving with a sense of gratitude and hope to come back again.
A couple of things to keep in mind: I’m a light sleeper and always travel with earplugs which helped block out any street noise. If you’re not as prepared the sounds from outside might affect your sleep.
The stairs can also be a bit of a challenge so be ready for some "cardio" in exchange for all that beauty. However, it sounds like an elevator might be installed in the near future.

We loved our 5-night stay at Numeroventi. The location is perfect: right in the heart of Florence yet calm and peaceful inside. The design is truly beautiful: high ceilings, curated furniture, and an elegant minimalist atmosphere.
Our studio (Loft 2) was spacious, with a kitchenette and wine fridge, and access to a shared kitchen with filtered water, ice cubes, and all cooking essentials.
Staff were friendly and welcoming, and breakfast in the communal space was simple but lovely: an Italian-style start to the day with coffee and pastries.
A small note: the sofa was quite low, and there’s no elevator, so be prepared for stairs.

Staying at numeroventi is an exceptional experience. It’s like a night in a Firenze museum. Waking up looking at a fresco on the ceiling is an experience to never forget. Also, Kristian was very kind and helpful during our stay and did tell us a little more about the rich history of the building, which made it an even extraordinary stay.

Beautifully presented and thoughtfully restored. The art throughout is truly amazing. It is a terrific location - close to everything but very peaceful. The staff are really helpful (special thanks to Jesse)
Part of the beauty is the stairs, but if your suitcase is heavy . . .

The property is GORGEOUS. Our room was so beautifully decorated and so spacious. Exquisite art on the walls and beautiful furnishings. Bed was very, very comfortable. The bonus was a shared kitchen just down the hall that came in so handy!
Couldn't have improved anything it was wonderful

Fantastic room size, design and artworks in display. Nice shared kitchen with complimentary water, coffee and tea.
Noise insulation not working well: I could hear several loud people from the street at night.

This is a beautifully restored building right in the centre of Florence just a few minutes walk to Piazza della Signoria. Emma who met us at the property was friendly and helpful. The reception area was impressive and the rooms we stayed in were beautiful with high frescoed ceilings and contemporary furniture thoughtfully chosen. The art, the interesting books lying around and the coffee on arrival and breakfast on one of the mornings was lovely.
It was noisy but I guess we should have expected that right in the centre of Florence. The shower was powerful but the water didn't seem to drain away properly in the wet room style floor. I ought to add that these things didn't bother me that much. I would still stay at this property again simply because it was so beautiful.

Last week when we arrive Florence, the weather is over 37 degrees. The room is a loft with only one small air conditioner on the second floor. No air conditioner on first floor and toilet, it is impossible to make the room cool with only one air conditioner on the second floor facing directly to the bed. We arrived the hotel around 630 pm, and sat on the sofa kept sweating for over 2 hours. At least, we have no way but leave the hotel to find another one at 9 pm.
The most furious thing is the lady from the hotel said there are 3 magazines missed after we left... it only took us 5 minutes to pack our luggage and gave the key back to her and her colleague. That's the worst experience I ever had on booking.com. This room is not qualified to offer residence once the weather is over 35 degrees.
P,S. There is no lift in the hotel, you need to carry your own luggage to the third floor without any lights in the night.

Innovative design forward concept with thoughtful showcasing of art, literature, and interior design through the spaces
Property is really serviced apartments and not a hotel, there is no useful common space and the entire building is dark at night. The staff (who are wonderful) leave early in the evening and there’s no F&B on weekends. It would be a game changer if the property was fully staffed and operated F&B (which seems fair for the rate being charged).

An incredibly special property. Furnished impeccably, great taste in music and art, made for a beautiful atmosphere. The light in the property is also very special.
Walking up quite a lot of stairs, but that’s to be expected in al old building and helps you walk off the pasta.

Very small room on the top floor with air-con that wasn’t the greatest. When I visited it was 30+ degrees and was uncomfortable to be inside the room. I asked for a fan but it wasn’t a (easy) ask as there were only two portable fans in the whole complex.

This hotel was in a wonderful location in Florence - great walking distance to SO MUCH!
The hosts were terrific...especially Annika. She was warm, extremely helpful and accommodating - she made us feel completely comfortable soon after arriving ( and we were exhausted, having traveled for many hours).
I would have liked a person on site round the clock, but in lieu of this, they did give us a number where we could reach them all evening and night.

The location was the key thing, being central, you can pop back to rest when Florence gets too much! The size of the room was really good and had air-con and a big window. It was a 2nd floor of an old building which had a mezzanine level. Bed mattress was comfortable and hosts were helpful and friendly. We did not factor in the impact of pounding the streets of Florence to see all the millions of attractions so with the benefit of hindsight may have gone for greater comfort and being very slightly less central.
Being in the centre of Florence, there can be a lot of noise from the street at night - bring earplugs just in case. The lights were a bit dim and the bathroom was a bit on the basic side. Only 5 hangers provided in a big wardrobe rail. Furniture was mid-century which looks cool.

the hosts were nice. the apartment was nice and had everything we needed. the bed is above the stairs, so keep that in mind.
The building is really pretty and the ceiling was an original art from the 16th century. It is a masterpiece.
