FLORENCE ITALY PERFECT S. CROCE MIRAVISTA APARTMENT
Enjoy stunning views of architectural treasures and of the surrounding hills may be enjoyed from the large terrace and from every window. Very bright. This historic palace in Piazza Santa Croce contains totally up-to-date apartments in central Florence, Italy. Not only are the furnishings luxurious, the views over the piazza to the handsome medieval church are breathtaking. Each apartment features its own historic atmosphere with Renaissance murals, family heirloom antiques, and talented decorating. Many guests spend the season here, returning year after year.
Location
Conveniently located in the heart of the historical center of Florence, in Piazza Santa Croce, the palazzo is a landmark Renaissance Palazzo, and one of the few left in the historic center of Florence with a dramatic frescoed facade.
Exterior
Many people passing through Piazza Santa Croce notice Giovanni di Ser Giovanni`s 1620 frescoes on the overhanging facade this handsome building, but few realize they can actually stay here.
Interior
Fifth-floor (North American) penthouse, with elevator.
The living room has a casually elegant feel because it its high ceilings and architectural details. You have to love the terrace where you can enjoy the Tuscan sun and watch the activity in the Piazza Santa Croce.
Two bedrooms: master bedroom overlooks inner courtyard with queen size bed that can be divided to form two singles the second bedroom overlooks the piazza and has two singes that can be joined to form a queen. Bathrooms: one with tub/shower and one with shower.
The living/dining room with working fireplace retains the structure and the columns of the Palazzo`s Renaissance loggia. Fully equipped kitchen. Independent heating and air conditioners.
Facilities:
Dishwasher, washer/dryer machine, oven, microwave oven, toaster, American coffee maker. Satellite TV, stereo hi-fi, CD and DVD players, high speed wireless connection, hair dryer, iron & ironing board. Use of Palazzo private Gym.
Things To Note
Elevator 6 steps up from building entrance.
Terrace & 1 bedroom overlook lively piazza, bedroom windows are double glazed but light sleepers take note. Other bedroom overlooks tile rooftops.
€300 damage deposit for stays up to 7 nights, €500 8 -14 nights, €1000 over 15 nights. Refundable less damages, paid in cash on arrival.
€250 final cleaning paid in cash on arrival.
Utilities included for stays up to 28 nights. Stays 29 nights and more utilities paid as consumed.
Check in 2pm-6:30pm, check out by 10am. Late check in by prior arrangement only.

The view from the terrace of the Basilica is even better than the pictures on the website. The building is charming, the apartment is very comfortable and close to everything in Florence. The building manager was prompt, explained everything and was available if needed. The views from the terrace especially at sunset were spectacular. Our first evening we were serenaded by a lone violinist playing the most beautiful music in the middle of the piazza. The apartment was quiet at night. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. I would highly recommend staying in any of the apartments in this building. There are more pictures on the website “Italy Perfect” including videos of the various units. I would most definitely stay here again when in Florence.

What a wonderful apartment, just what we expected from Italy Perfect. The apartment was spacious and beautifully decorated, there was nothing we wanted for. The balcony was bliss, great for breakfast, and to chill out after a day of sightseeing, we had front row seats to watch a festival, all in costume, layout in the square. Location was perfect to take in all the beauty that is Florence. Plenty of restaurants to choose from, for price ranges. We would highly recommend this very special apartment, you would not be disappointed. And thanks to our greeter, Cecile, who was most helpful.

Apartment was well equipped and very clean. Very busy location but central to all sites and the good windows kept out noise. Manager was very accommodating.

The central location of the Palazzo can't be beat! And the history surrounding the building and the frescoes is so interesting!
We originally booked Santa Croce Paradiso but, since my husband is a very light sleeper, found that the revelers in the Piazza were too boisterous for us to sleep well. We approached the managers - as well as copying Pat on our email - and they could NOT have been more lovely or helpful in providing us with an alternative. We moved to the Belvedere and were thrilled with it! It doesn't look over the Piazza, which was just fine with us, but it has a southerly facing terrace and was extremely quiet. Not to mention darling! Love the colors.
With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the apartment has everything one needs for a lovely holiday. It was clean and well appointed. And the appliances all worked well. It's clear the owners manage this building with great care.
The restaurant directly downstairs, Boccadama, is pretty good and the workers are extremely pleasant. One night we ordered pizza from them and they let us take the dishes up to our terrace so we could dine privately - we just had to return everything the next day!
Also, Boutique Nadine was a great little find. And Osteria dei Benci is fantastic at lunch.
I would definitely recommend Italy Perfect! Pat was a complete joy to work with!
