Its was simply more beautiful than we could have imagined even from viewing the pictures and description.
We were warmly welcomed and given an orientation upon arrival. The apartment has literally every amenity and is decorated in the lovely florentine style. The kitchen is well appointed and the furniture and beds, exceedingly comfortable.
The trompe l’oile around the windows & doorways and the “bookcase” are beautifully rendered and the tile work in the bathrooms are rich and authentic. Between the beauty of the apartment and the stunning view, you feel at one with the heart and the art of the incomparable city.
Last, but by no means least, the terrace is simply breathtaking. It is a slice of heaven with a view of Santa Croce and the piazza where we spent blissful hours; eating lunches, enjoying sunsets and wine, and taking in the beauty of it all.
