Disappointed

At first glance it was nice for a short stay.

Was good for a short stay, maybe a 1 or 2 nights. The photos of the inside didn’t match where we stayed. Must of been the one upstairs maybe. Stayed with my family. So a family of 4. For just under 3 weeks. 1 towel each and 1 bath mat. I asked for more towels but was told they don’t offer more towels and if we wanted more we would have to pay an extra 30 pounds for the use of only 2 more towels. I could go to the shop and buy towels cheaper than that and get to keep them and take them home. The fact that we paid all this money to stay at the property and then have to pay extra to get a few more towels is bad and unconsidered. And there is no dryer so it took a few days for the towels to dry after washing them. The pillows were flat and not very nice to sleep on. We were at the bottom flat so when the people above us were in all you could hear were people stomping around when they walked above us. Late at night and early hours of the morning while we were trying to sleep. The internet was so bad that we couldn’t even watch a move or the tv when we were in. The internet wouldn’t even work for our phones most of the time. And when we tried to use our phones data to use our phones they wouldn’t even work most of the time. The bathroom could use a better clean. The groves on the outside of the bath have a gross yellow gunk in it. Mould on the bottom of the shower screen and behind the picture hanging on the wall.

Very avoidable place of stay. There are much better options available

The only thing good about the property is the dedicated parking provision. Also the location is fairly central as well.

The bathroom is appallingly small and the wash hand basin is actually a finger bowl!! The crockery and cutlery are a complete mix match of various sets and practically all of them were chipped. The condition of the washing machine was deplorable, with the soap dispensing section mouldy and filthy. General housekeeping left a lot to be desired and it was apparent that there was no effort towards maintaining the property . There are several 'rules' of the house that are provided, which should ideally be made available before booking and not after completing the reservation.

Great value accommodation in a central location.

I was born in Coventry so I knew the location well which suited our needs perfectly. The accommodation was very well presented and comfortable. I liked the security offered (gated parking) and the EV charging point was very useful for us.

The Wi-Fi is very poor (5G box) and the mobile phone signal is also poor. As Freesat TV is not provided, streaming TV is almost impossible sometimes. Thankfully we were out most of the time but I like to watch the news in the morning and had we been at the accommodation in the evenings this would have been more of an issue. The wash basin in the shower room is far too small for anything other than washing your hands.
