OK for a short stay

Close to Cov city centre (10 min walk), large apartment, nice TV, fully equipped kitchen

bare minimum number of towels, no extra pillows, un-comfy sofa, no parking on-site (only 2hrs parking on street during the day) and just a little 'shabby' around the edges (marks on paintwork, broken lamp shade) reminded us of student halls

The apartment had the necessary rooms and was good value for your money. It is not far from the city center, still pretty quiet area.

The oven did not work, as handle was removed. This was a setback as we had planned to do some cooking on our own. Sofa was busted, so we were lacking comfortable seating in the living room. It was quite a hazzle to find a way to pay the deposit, when you do not have an UK bank account. We did however get the deposit refunded right away as we were promised. ( minus the charges of using PayPal)

Perfect location to centre and train station.

brilliant location, clean apartment and excellent communication

main building front door jammed on several occasions and we were unable to open it. Thankfully a local delivery guy was able to push it open.

Proximity to city centre

Apartment 57 wasn't ready to occupy until 5:30pm although the booking details stated 3pm. The carpets in both bedrooms and rug in the lounge were dirty and hadn't been vacuumed or cleaned. Duvet cover in one of the bedrooms was stained and hadn't been changed from the last guests instead it was turned over and upside down to hide it. Bedding in the other room didn't feel fresh. Apartment had a lingering smell of smoke so when we got back home we had to wash everything straight away even things we didn't wear. Blind in back bedroom broken so permanently down. Handle on the oven door was broken so we couldn't use it.

Pleasant

Property is a good walking location to the centre and for the purpose of our visit. It was comfortable and generally clean although decor was very tired and could do with refresh especially for the amount paid.

The hidden costs & bombardment of emails/texts. We had to pay £150 deposit before being given access to the property. No mention of this on any of the t & c’s or policies about the property. I paid for the property in full on booking but then had a flurry of emails asking for the unmentioned deposit / ID/ & purpose is stay. I said I would pay deposit on arrival as I wasn’t going to be further out of pocket for the few weeks before the stay. A few days later I then got a numerous WhatsApp messages asking for the deposit to be paid by BACS! I was given no bank details and the phone number this came from was different to that listed against the property on the site . All this made us feel incredibly uncomfortable and like we were being swindled. Very limited crockery etc & only 2 towels provided for 4 people.

Excellent!!

Being as we couldn’t get into the apartment we had previously booked, the owner of this apartment accommodated us and made sure we got in straight away. The apartment is beautiful, very well looked after everything was superb.
