This was a lovely property to stay at. The location was quiet and not far from downtown and had a lovely backyard.
It would have been nice to have 2 towels for showering and a hand towel for drying your hands in the washroom, and somewhere to sit in the backyard would have been nice as well.

Spacious, clean and comfortable semi-detached in a quiet, hillside suburban street, with beautiful views overlooking the mountains and the city. A real home from home. Very convenient distance to Belfast and airport. Shops and supermarkets very close by. Hosts very responsive and helpful.

Place was easy to find and check-in was unproblematic. Contact with the owner was good and we have received all needed information - how to close the door, what is the Wi-Fi password, etc. Price was attractive, but knowing the standard now, I will choose other option.
It was very frustrating to find out how to close the door, I believe it should be one of the most important things described in the house manual. You have a bit overwhelming feeling of the fact that someone is living there and may enter any time, this is personal feeling, but made me feel unsafe. I did not expect the house to have private stuff of anyone else there - personal pictures, shoes in the hallway, 3 closed rooms that you don't know if someone is staying in or not. It caused a really uncomfortable feeling for me. And also photos used on booking.com do not show the amount of private belongings that is there in reality, the title highlights the fact that the home is not shared and there is no information in the description that there will be things of the owner there. Other than that - the toilet flush did not work, water pressure was really weak, the house was worn out, the duvet was like a thin mattres (did not bend at all), there was a breakfast station in the room with strawberry jam but nothing to use the jam with. Awkward place with a feeling of couchsurfing / home exchange. None of the AirBnBs nor Booking stays was as weird as this one.
