Everyone was extremely friendly and we felt taken care of every minute from check in to check out!
There’s no need to pre book any activities on the island, they will help with everything, even fixing a massage in the room.
Villa itself if spacious, nicely designed, fresh and balcony offers amazing view.
Breakfast offers great selection! We also ate at the restaurant all nights of our stay and I’m happy we did: food is good but atmosphere and staff makes it a wonderful spot to spend the evening!
It’s a perfect place to relax and it’s not overcrowded, even with all villas fully booked it never felt too busy. A perfect spot to relax for a couple of days.
Pool area needs some love but as it was mostly empty I didn’t mind it too much.

The view from the room was breathtaking and the place is very peaceful and lovely. Breakfast was good and the rooms are spacious, clean and modern. The service is excellent - the staff is friendly and helpful and communication via WhatsApp was easy. The staff assisted us with renting a scooter and organizing a trip to Hong Island. The general manager was also very kind and welcoming. We truly felt taken care of. Highly recommended!

Amazing view, great service of the Stafford great hospitality was great. The manager of the hotel is a great lady who serves her guests as if they were her family. bottles of mineral water free of charge.
Very little white sand. Most of the beach is rocks, so you can't really go swimming.

This place is a hidden gem, truly special in every way. The breathtaking view of Krabi leaves you in awe, and the rooms are wonderfully cozy. The staff's friendliness adds to the experience, making everything absolutely perfect. I can't wait to return!
I spent 5 days there and I wish I spent a full week.

I love everything about the property. It felt like a home away from home and was very clean.
It wasn’t really a negative as we wanted a restful holiday anyways, but it’s quite far from Phuket town

The apartment and room was amazing, the view is insane! Very well equipped with some cooking facilities too. Waking up to that view from a comfy bed was stunning.
The location is great, quiet, can walk out into the sea in the morning (low tide afternoon).
Easy to rent a scooter from nearby resort that staff helped with.
This is not a 4 star hotel, I think it’s been advertised wrongly - it’s more of a private apartment complex - there isn’t a reception like other Thai hotels, it’s all done via whatsapp - which is fine but not what we expected for a 4 star hotel.
Noticed a few things that could do with fixing like broken stair boards or fence parts. The flooring on the restaurant and around the pool area is pretty dodgy so wouldn’t suggest bringing kids or elderly here.
Building materials have been left out in various places, particularly underneath the houses which is quite ugly to see.
Beach and pool area isn’t that well maintained, again expect a 4 star hotel to have more attention to detail in shared areas.
The breakfast area has little shade in the morning, wanted staff to make more effort to put out more seating.

Absolutely loved this hotel. My grown up daughter and I travelled around South of Thailand for 2 weeks, and this was one of our favourite hotels. From start to finish the staff were outstanding. They organised our transfer from Phuket Airport, which was brilliant and greeted us on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble, and they were all so kind, lovely and hardworking. They made our stay perfect. Our room was so beautiful and the view is just wow! Everywhere was so clean and it was definitely one of my favourite places on our travels. The restaurant was fantastic. Again, wonderful staff and the food and drinks were delicious. The location is really quiet but the reception can order a taxi for sightseeing. We went to a beach with a chilled bar and sunset. We were only there a couple of nights but would love to go back and stay longer and see more of the island. Thank you, Cocunut Grove Resort, for making our stay absolutely perfect. We loved it 💙

Absolutely stunning view. Friendly staff. Only minus was the breakfast which was basically just a fruit stand and an egg station.

Villa is really big which is great and convenient especially when you travel from a long distance with a lot of stuff. But of course the most important is view - it’s amazing to wake up to this. Also the stuff is very nice and helpful and transfer was organized well.

Beautiful views from the very well decorated and comfortable room. Nice pool area.
Disappointing breakfast.
The street behind the rooms is 2 meters behind the room door and back windows which makes it very loud. (If possible avoid the row of rooms closest to the street)

On arrival the villa looked absolutely amazing, big comfy bed, large TV, great bathroom and a balcony with an incredible view.
The pool itself was amazing too, such a great view and lots of seats in the pool to sit and appreciate it.
The food was tasty, although a bit expensive. But justified for the beach front restuarant.
When staff were seen they were really friendly and welcoming.
This place is baffling, it seems unfinished and like the budget has been blown on the wrong things and nothing has been thought out properly...
The kitchen for example, has a top range large fridge, a beautifully set dining table with plates, cutlery etc, implying an element of self-catering... But then the oven, hob and microwave in the kitchen don't work, and there's no pots or pans to actually cook anything with... Not an issue because the restuarants were great, but just weird...
An amazing balcony with two chairs to sit on, but no table or anything to put drinks on, yet multiple expensive looking art pieces around the villa. There were so many plug sockets around the villa, but in weird places like 3 foot off the floor where there's no furniture.
To turn a light on in the bathroom means going round out of the bedroom and into the kitchen, and the bathroom mirror still had bits of cardboard on the corners which shows just how brand new but also unfinished the place is.
The pool itself was incredible, but the decking around it had been patched up with untreated chipboard sheets, which I guess must be a temporary repair? The bar by the pool is clearly not finished and not up and running.
Loads of staff in the restuarant, but none to be seen anywhere else in the resort. A different couple had some drinks by the pool at lunchtime, and the next morning the empties were still there, shows that no staff are really present. There is no reception, a greet by a member of staff who then is contactable only by WhatsApp.
Sadly the general lack of attention to any detail ruins the luxury feel, which is a shame because it was so close to being exceptional!

• Decorated stylishly with blocks of wood, modern art pieces, natural tones and beautiful furniture on the coast
• Delicious buffet style breakfast (fruits, local dishes, toasted bread, cakes, eggs…)
• Pool is big and nice, ideal for swimming and relaxing sea view
• Beautiful, spacious & confortable individuals sea-view villas
• Huge comfy king size bed
• Easy option to book a scooter for your stay (needed to explore the island, go to beaches, restaurants/bars)
• Easy to communicate with by booking for check in details or any other questions
• Nice welcoming juice at arrival during check in
• Daily free botles of water
• Well located close to nice local restaurants (Gala, then with scooter: chill chill @Pai, HinKong restaurant, Jinko, Baan Rim Nam…)
Some minor details to take into consideration or that could be improved for a better customer experience :
• In the room : 1. lack of shelves, clothes storage and coat hangers. 2. Big gap between the doors where ants/Moskitoes/insects/geekos can enter
• In the Villa: 1. No safe for personal belongings 2. No cutlery/kitchen tools to cook or warm up food in the kitchen 3. More hangers in the bathroom would be practical 4. A small shelve in the shower to put products when showering
• Outside : 1. The sea just in front has a lot of rocks and it’s not recommend it to swim on it, beaches available by scooter in 10/15 min 2. Beautiful wooden bar close to the pool not in use 3. Some planks around the pool giving a ‘not finished’ look
• The staff (for check in, cleaning, pool) is professional/thoughtful/smiling and is doing great but sometimes despite some efforts, the women at the restaurant look annoyed

We were blown away with the villa and the view. Amazing! 👌
Even though it had a sea view, the beach is not for sunbathing or swimming, but no reflection on the villa itself. We did find the gaps around the doors a bit annoying as it was quite windy while we were there, but still wouldn't turn me off. It just does need to be addressed.

Fantastic accommodation, great design. The bed and pillows the most comfortable in 5 weeks travelling Thailand.
Very generous complimentary water/soda/fruit. Swimming pool lovely and quiet. Yes they have put boards down to protect the decking but still a pretty beautiful place to relax.
There is a reception at the sister hotel next door so all travel and other arrangements can be made there. Great staff too. They arranged a good private tour to the Khai islands. They arranged the best time to go so you miss the other crowds.
The restaurant by the beach was lovely if a little slow. Don’t go if I’m a rush! Food was great but suggested they show on their menu if the meat in the curry is on/off the bone.
Would definitely book again.

Nice spacious villa, incredible view. Allowed early check in which was great
There's a gap above the French doors which means insects can get in, I got destroyed by mosquitoes. The shower pressure was bad

We really liked the villa, it was beautifully done with an amazing view on the sea and islands. Villa really looks like on the pictures and the details are really beautiful. Its very private and the balcony is massive and beautiful sunrise view in the morning.
The staff was lovely and very very helpful, they arranged transport for us and helped with everything.
The breakfast was tasty and both restaurants had a really nice food.
The pool area unfortunately looks a little "abandoned", even though it is a really lovely spot and the pool itself is incredible.
Unfortunately, even though the resort is placed by the sea and has a little beach, it isn't possible to swim in the water - its a stoney coast and entrance to the water.
It would be nice if the little bar beside the pool was open, but we do understand why it isn't (probably not enough people around?)
The only other one little minus is that villas are just next to the road which only becomes an issue if you are a light sleeper cause the traffic will wake you up in the morning.

Very big room with a big balcony/good view. Restaurant food was tasty (even though it takes 1 hour to get the food)
You can not swim at the beach in front. It takes 10 minutes with scooter to go to beach. so false advertisement here. Hotel arranged a massage for us, but it was very poor and it was done on our bed (reception told us it was in the balcony). Restaurant took one hour to prepare our food even though there was only maximum 10 people. Reception of hotel is only one lady that takes care of 3 different hotels.

Booked this as it was cheaper than the Saengsuree Villas that share the same facilities. Its a very quiet location which is perfect to relax. Beach restaurant serves breakfast with good choice of food. we also ate here in the evening food was really good. Staff really nice. The beach isn’t great. only complaint is the pool area is a mess it’s covered with plywood as the decking is falling apart. not good. No mention when we booked and no mention from staff it’s like the problem doesn’t exist.

We had a fantastic time there. The vila’s are new and modern inside, bed is big and comfortable. The views are incredible and it’s so quiet, we managed to get a good rest. The pool is great, with a view over the sea. The staff in the restaurant are lovely and the food is really good (in particular the fish, chicken satay, the curries, and brownie dessert). We’re very glad we stayed there and would recommend the place.

Beautiful new villas with nice furniture, comfy bed, large bathroom, kitchen and tv area. Room is super clean.
Welcome drinks in the fridge and fresh fruits at the arrival.
Amazing view and huge balcony. Waking up in the morning with this view was amazing.
Huge clean pool and lots of benches to relax at the pool right at the beach.
Staff in restaurant is super nice and food is also good.
You can rent scooters and the help you with airport transfer.
Despite some small details missing we really enjoyed our stay in the hotel.
No reception- when you need something you can contact staff via whatsapp. Not very personal. Would expect more for this price...
Shower pressure was super low. Lots of mosquitos (recommend travel mosquito net as no net is provided).
All in all we found it misses a little warmth in the details yet, but as the hotel is new they are working on that.
Bar at the pool was not open during the day although (but in the restaurant about 80m further down the beach).

stand alone house. Khwan was very helpful but unable to move us as the resort was booked out. Hillside restaurant across the road is very good and we easily rented a scooter from them.
don’t stay in the lowest elevation, end unit. it is old and has drainage, mildew and odour issues

Beautiful little resort, had a lovely stay with my boyfriend. Koh Yao Yai is definitely a little off the beaten track and a nice peaceful escape. Our room was a great size with a big bed and an adjacent living room. It overlooks onto the pool with ocean views, you get a stunning view of sunset colours in the evening from the balcony! Pool is a good size and great to sit and sip on a pina colada. Staff are so nice and attentive, my boyfriend surprised me with a sunset dinner on the beach having worked with the manager to arrange it. Hotel was able to help arrange a scooter to explore the island. Overall very pleased with the stay and will be back!

Wow.. the villa and pool are incredible. Brand new and just opened. The villa is massive and is exactly like the photos. Thai style luxury with the balcony the perfect place to relax, have a drink and take in the amazing views.
Incredible place to relax and unwind. Only wish we could have stayed longer.
Staff are lovely and friendly and can arrange anything you require. We hired a scooter and explored the island with ease.
Koh Yao Yai is a really cool island away from the crowds, secluded and peaceful!!
