Casa Gecko is a stylish 3-bedroom villa with a private heated pool, ideally located close to Marina Rubicón and Playa Dorada beach. The Space:
Beautifully furnished and thoughtfully designed, Casa Gecko is a welcoming villa that perfectly blends comfort, style, and outdoor living. Located in a peaceful residential area close to Marina Rubicón, it provides an ideal base for families and friends looking to enjoy everything Playa Blanca has to offer.
At the heart of the villa is a bright and inviting open-plan living space where contemporary design meets a relaxed holiday atmosphere. The elegant dining area flows seamlessly into the comfortable lounge, where a large corner sofa, air conditioning, TV with international channels, and floor-to-ceiling windows create a light-filled space to relax and unwind.
The fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed for a comfortable self-catering stay, whether preparing a quick breakfast before heading to the beach or enjoying a leisurely meal at home.
Outside, the villa offers a wonderful setting for making the most of Lanzarote's year-round sunshine. Sliding doors open onto a sheltered terrace overlooking the private heated swimming pool, surrounded by sun loungers and plenty of space to relax. A traditional Spanish-style BBQ and shaded rattan seating area provide the perfect setting for al fresco dining with family and friends.
Casa Gecko accommodates up to six guests across three beautifully presented bedrooms, all with air conditioning. Upstairs, the spacious master suite features a king-size bed, ensuite wet room with rainfall shower, and a private balcony overlooking the pool — a lovely spot to enjoy a quiet morning coffee or evening drink.
A second bedroom offers flexible sleeping arrangements with zip-and-link beds that can be configured as either twins or a king-size bed, while the third bedroom is arranged as a twin room and enjoys views towards the dramatic Los Ajaches mountains. A spacious family bathroom serves these bedrooms, while a convenient guest WC is located on the ground floor.

The Neighborhood:
Casa Gecko enjoys an excellent location in a quiet residential area just 400 metres from Marina Rubicón. Here you'll find a fantastic selection of waterfront restaurants, cafés, bars, boutiques, and the popular shopping centre, all within easy walking distance.
The beautiful sandy beach of Playa Dorada is approximately 1 km away, while the scenic seafront promenade connects the marina with the centre of Playa Blanca, making it easy to explore the resort on foot.
With beaches, dining, shopping, and entertainment all close by, Casa Gecko is perfectly positioned for a relaxed and enjoyable holiday in Playa Blanca.
Getting Around:
Taxis are readily available, reliable, and affordable for getting around the resort. Lanzarote also has a well-connected and easy-to-use bus network, offering a convenient and budget-friendly way to explore the island.
If you’d like to explore more of the island, we can also arrange car hire through a trusted local company, with the option of airport collection or delivery directly to the villa.

A generous welcome pack will be waiting for you, including tea, coffee, milk, sugar, water, orange juice, beer, biscuits, and a bottle of wine or Cava, perfect after your journey.
Bed linen, towels, and pool towels are all provided for your stay. For stays of more than 12 nights, a weekly mid-stay housekeeping service is included. This is a light clean, along with fresh linen and towels, and takes place every 7 days (for example, on day 7 of a 2-week stay, and days 7 and 14 for longer stays). For longer stays, this continues every 7 days thereafter. For bookings of 12 nights or fewer, additional cleaning is not included, but can be arranged on request.
Air conditioning is available and operates on a pay-as-you-use basis at €0.75 per kWh. The meter accepts €1 and €2 coins and can be pre-loaded for your arrival during normal working hours if preferred.
Pool heating is included during the winter months. During the summer months (1st May to 30th September), solar heating is provided, with the option to add electric heating for an additional charge should you prefer a little extra warmth. The hot tub can also be added to your booking for a supplement, ideal for making your stay that little bit more special.
If you’re travelling with little ones, cots and high chairs can be arranged at €25 per week, per item, payable in cash on arrival directly to the local hire company.
A breakage cover fee of £10 per person is included in your booking. This replaces the need for a traditional security deposit and covers accidental damage up to £400, giving you added peace of mind throughout your stay.

This is our second visit to Casa Gecko and fifth to the Rubicon Marina. It is by far the best villa we have stayed in and always try to to book before looking elsewhere.
Property is immaculate and clean with a great pool.
Close to all amenities with plenty of restaurants in the marina nearby.
Definitely will be going back and hopefully to Casa Gecko.

Perfect location 5 minutes walk from The Rubicon marina and an easy walk to the centre of Playa Blanca. The villa is very comfortable and well equipped. During our 4 week stay, Nina came at the end of each week to clean and provide fresh bed linen and clean towels. The outside area is perfect for breakfast on sunny mornings. The ‘pool man’ came regularly to check the swimming pool and ensure cleanliness of the water.
Although the TV provides a multitude of English channels including all the sport programs, we did not find it particularly user friendly.

The location close to the marina was ideal with shops nearby which were well stocked. The seating area by the pool was nice to relax in and very comfortable.

The Villa was ideally located for the Marina Rubicon and around 15 mins walk to the centre of Playa Blanca. Casa Gecko was beautifully furnished with lovely outdoor seating area, plenty of sunbeds, towels and bedding were top quality, bathrooms were two showers and one bath with overhead shower, there was a lovely welcome pack in the fridge when we arrived, bread, milk, wine, juice and was much appreciated.
