Casa Melián

The villa was exactly as described in the listing. It was in an excellent and very peaceful location within a very short walk to the Marina & was spotlessly clean. The outdoor area is very spacious with a great pool and the outdoor Bluetooth speakers were great. The kitchen had kettle, toaster, coffee machine etc and the washing machine was very welcome. There were loads of towels & pool towels provided and the table football was a hit with the family. The outdoor bathroom was really useful as there were 6 of us all trying to get ready at the same time and was great during the day to save getting the floor wet inside. We appreciated the welcome water, fruit & wine.

Being really picky, the bathroom door has no lock on it and sticks on the floor every time you open it which makes a noise & woke people up every night -this was the most annoying thing. More cutlery for 6 people would be ideal so there is some to use when the dishwasher is on. We were forever short of knives & forks. We were given half a small container of washing up liquid and 4 dishwasher tabs but a few more basic cleaning products should be provided to keep the kitchen & bathroom clean as I’m sure most guests, like us, want to treat the villa like their home. We left our products & hand soaps we bought for the next guests. None of this was deal- breaking but our honest thoughts.

Casa Melián was exceptionally good. We are just back from a two week stay and had an amazing time. It is spotless throughout, spacious and comfortable. We could not fault anything about the property and will definitely be back!
