224 - Casa Gecko by Villas Now Ltd

We were very pleased with the location, which was only a short walk from a shopping centre and the port, with a selection of bars and restaurants. A further 10 to 15 min walk along the seafront with a further selection of shops took us to the beach and the town centre. The heated pool was a definite big bonus - we enjoyed being able to use the pool. The agency staff were brilliant. Any issues were dealt with quickly and all the staff we had contact with were really friendly and helpful. The villa had everything we needed, the airfryer was a real bonus. A previous villa we stayed in had a little wheeled shopping trolley and that would have been helpful but just a nice to have.

The only thing that let the villa down was the sunbeds which were the plastic ones you get on the beach and not very comfortable. Apart from that there was nothing we didn't like. However, we went in February so it was very quiet which suited us. However the villas are quite close together, so I would anticipate that it could be fairly noisy in peak season when they are all occupied. As a lady of a certain age I found the 'ladder' for the pool quite difficult.

La maison est telle que décrite dans l'annonce. Elle est très bien équipée et très agréable au quotidien (décoration soignée...) Nous avons apprécié: les petites attentions dans le frigo, le fait de disposer de serviettes pour les transats et la piscine parfaitement chauffée.

Pendant notre séjour il y avait des travaux dans la maison juste à côté (marteau piqueur pour casser la terrasse) ce qui a généré beaucoup de bruit...nous nous sommes adaptés et sommes plus souvent sortis...Globalement à Playa Blanca il y a beaucoup de travaux (constructions d'hôtels, rénovations de maison... il faut le savoir ;) Une épuisette plus grande pour le nettoyage de la piscine serait appréciée.

The Villa is absolutely perfect, clean, has everything you need even for a baby, the pool was so fabulous and heated with the cover left on all night, gorgeous. Location is absolutely ideal. So close to the Marina, beautiful resturants and walks.

Lovely well appointed modern villa in a location near to the Rubicon Marina . Everything you need for a comfortable stay .

Pool hadn’t been cleaned on our arrival on the Friday , I highlighted this to the host representative on the Saturday and she said she would remedy the matter immediately. No body arrived until the Monday after I complained again and even then he made a half hearted attempt of cleaning it completely. Another issue was the ongoing substantial building works ongoing at No 4 , from Monday to Thursday we had to put up with the sound pneumatic jack hammers, drills and hammers , not very relaxing . I stayed at No 10 La Calera in early December 2033 and they were working on the same house at No 4 . I know this is no fault of the host , but it did impact on having an enjoyable holiday.
