Comfortable 2 bedroom house in historic Exeter

Neat little house at a walkable distance from the St.Davids station. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Everything we needed was provided. Don’t expect big luxury, it’s a small older house but it did the job perfectly!

The location is a bit further from the centre and convenience stores. The neighbour was renovating hos house during our stay which caused some noise, but of course, this is temporary.

Space for 4, kitchen facilities to cook and everywhere was clean. Front bedroom was comfortable, back bed, I am told, was less so. On road parking out front and minimal street noise.£8 cab to city centre.

This is a small mid terrace with concertina doors inside which are flimsy and not soundproof. there are stickers on cupboards, light shades and doors with instructions and both front and backdoors are temperamental to lock.

It had a weird smell. The back gate was at the top of some steep concrete steps and it was hard to open, you had to pull it really hard inwards to open it, there were no handles on it to use, if you stumbled whilst trying to open it you'd fall down the steps, dangerous. The bathroom door would only open half way, so if you had a fuller figure it wasn't suitable and not safe if you had to exit quickly, or someone needed to access it quickly. It was extremely hot the weekend when we visited, so portable fans would have been appreciated. We had booked two nights, but left early only staying the one night.
