Location was good

We had a power failure early evening lasting into the following day so no light, heating or hot water for showering. Disappointingly our hostess Kym had advised she would organise a refund for our accommodation which was appreciated but not followed through. I did try to contact the letting agent myself to see if she would make good on her offer but dealing with AI bots gets you nowhere.

Peaceful and tranquil

This is an awesome place. Clean, quiet, authentic. Close enough to Bakewell but totally rural. Every single thing about this (except wifi and cell coverage) was first rate.

I would have hoped that the Wifi would be secure - not an open network. No way your fault, but those stone walls mean there is no phone/data reception inside. Otherwise 5* for the traditional barn conversion - thank you

The farm was beautiful, seeing the animals and amazing landscape for miles made the stay even better.

To put anything in here I’d be nit picking for no reason just to find a problem.

Amazing, can’t wait to return!

This stay has been one of the best we’ve ever experienced. The location is absolutely beautiful, the accommodation is very clean & cosy with everything you could need; towels, linen, oven, washing machine, toaster, microwave, large tv, plus more. There are goats, alpacas & sheep we enjoyed saying hello to & everyone we saw were so friendly. We spent 5 days here & we really didn’t want to leave. We’re already looking at when we can return & we only left this morning! We could not recommend highly enough!

Very well equipped and clean, quiet and beautiful area. Location was great to explore.

There was everything you wanted at this property and I’d definitely stay again however it had no warm welcome about it. No information book from the owners or other guests. No hi from the people on the farm not sure if they owned the cottages or not. They wasn’t rude but wasn’t present maybe they were just giving us privacy.

Lovely cottage! Great staff - very friendly and responsive. Bakewell nearby has lots to offer.

Could do with recycling bins inside property to avoid people putting everything in one bin - or clearer instructions on where recycling bins are located and what goes in (as different councils accept different items)
