A very thoughtful host obviously. Firewood for the fire, spare loo paper in the bathroom, tea, coffee and milk all at the ready. And all questions you might want to ask already answered before you arrive and a personal welcome from the owner, Lucy, herself….a very thoughtful host. Well done and many thanks.

Beautiful house, attention to detail, perfect for a group or large family

Comfortable and cosy. The place was decorated beautifully and the space was perfect for our group ❤️ I would say a lot of thought has been put into making your stay as relaxing as possible with lots of toiletries etc provided

The only niggle was parking, not great if you had mobility problems & couldn’t get close to property. We were visiting for a 26 mile hike so not ideal to have to park up the hill, one selfish Parker had taken up 2 spaces with 1 car near to the house but can’t be helped.

Everyone in our party commented on how lovely the property was.

Location central to bakewell. Facilities were excellent, well thought out. Felt spacious. Just a shame that it rained whilst here as would have been nice to sit in garden.

Parking a little awkward. We were fine first night, but had moved car to go out on the night and struggled to get parked close by when we returned. Not the biggest issue, but at 12 at night we were just wanting it to be a little easier.

The location is superb! The cottage is lovely, clean, enough room for our group which was 8 adults. The facilities and available amenities in the kitchen and bathroom. And all very good quality And 2 parking permits

Amazing cottage in a beautiful area.

Cottage is beautiful and very handy for everything. Lots of extras, toiletries and local food products on arrival were really special.

A downstairs loo especially for older people who struggle with stairs would be handy. Although it is appreciated that it is a old building.

Everything was amazing, so many little extra touches that made our stay wonderful (shampoo AND conditioner provided, Pukka tea and Netflix!). The location was great and rooms were spacious.

We couldn't find an oven glove, but other than that everything was great!
