Grade II listed Cottage with Sauna in Bakewell

Great location, finding the apartment is very straightforward once you reach the Aldi supermarket, as it’s right across the street. All the hikes and local attractions are within a 30-minute drive. There is also a commercial area right next door with a café, a bakery, and a brewery that serves excellent pizza. As for the apartment itself and its amenities: the hot tub is fantastic, as is the sauna, and the outdoor facilities are very well maintained. The kitchen is fully equipped and great to use. There is only one shower, but having an extra separate toilet is really convenient. Parking is excellent, with plenty of room for several cars without any hassle. The apartment was reasonably clean. James was wonderful and gave us all the information we needed!

A bit more outdoor lighting is needed, especially around the hot tub and the BBQ area, so you have proper light while grilling. A small bench near the hot tub to put belongings on would be a nice addition, as well as one by the entrance for shoes. Other than that, everything was perfect-no real complaints!

Kitchen was amazing, literally everything you need, inc glasses, crockery and everything to cook with. Hot tub and sauna were great. Price was fantastic compared to anything else locally and dog friendly this time of year.

The cottage was delightful, beautifully decorated, lots of room and well equipped. We really enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings and the cinema room. A lovely scenic walk along the river to the town centre. First time in Bakewell and we loved it.
