Great house in a great location.

Very enjoyable stay shame about the bathroom

Great location. Parking easy and close by. House was very cosy and kitchen had everything needed to cook for ourselves.

Main problem was the bathroom. The water power to the only toilet/bathroom was too weak. This meant you had to flush the toilet 5 times to clear it. Also, whilst the shower was warm the power was quite weak. If you are a light sleeper, you could be woken by the traffic on the road

Shower was a bit temperamental, was either cold or scalding. Not easy to find a parking space.

Good location and plenty of character in the property. Check-in was super easy.

The toilet would not refill properly - we had to keep nudging the valve in the cistern! Nothing terrible, just annoying! The hosts ask for suggestions for the next upgrade to the property - it should be the toilet!

The owners had put a lot of thought into making our stay enjoyable. Everything was provided for comfort and ease, the cottage was spotless.

For anyone who struggles with mobility , the staircase was steep but the description of the property shows the layout so it’s your personal choice . Also parking is a little way from the property but that is because of the nature of Bakewell and the old quirkiness.

Not at all the best option in Bakewell

Nice spacius kitchen fully equiped, confortbale bed and house overall very clean. Location is quiet and close to pub and supermarkets.

The Shower is horrendus, it simly dosen't work, it keep shift from hot boilng to freezing every few seconds, dosn't matter how you adjust the settings. The owner should fix that before put on rent the house again. The day of the chek ou the cleaners entered the property like the SWAT team 15 minutes before the chek out time (10 AM) creating huge mess and confusion, not a plasent situation. After booking the property up to the day before the check in I have recived an insane amount of messages and email with a lot of uneseful information, in this mess the sueful infermation got almost lost, honestly I dont really want to read 13 page of Words (yes, 13 pages with 3918 words) before I go on holiday, what people need to know can stay in few sentences: the adddres, where to park the car, how to collect the keys and wifi password. Internet was not working but I got informed of that in time (a discount would have been apprecated as we paid for it and there is poor phone coverage). Park the car near the property is impossible (reserved car parks for resident are not enough) so be ready to pay for yuour parking through the stay.
