Spacious bedrooms

Treacherous staircase to get upstairs to the bedrooms, not recommended for families with little children (or being 9 months pregnant), shower full of mould, no kitchen knives, no tea (despite stating it would be there)

Very clean, lots of amenities, including large smart TV and everything needed for a comfortable stay. Very close to Alton towers and a lot of restaurants close by

Disappointing because reasons stated above. 2 of the group had to sleep on the floor due to the sofa bed not pulling out

This property was a significant disappointment due to numerous issues including an ant-infested kitchen, leaking pipes,

The only good thing is we got a roof on our head after booking.

This stay was unfortunately a significant disappointment. The property had several issues that negatively impacted our comfort and enjoyment. Unpleasant Conditions and Lack of Amenities The kitchen was infested with ants, which was unhygienic and unsettling. We also noticed several leaking pipes, some of which were dangerously hot. Despite the cold nights, the radiators provided no heating, making our stay uncomfortable. The induction hob was incredibly slow, making cooking a frustrating experience, and the pans and utensils provided were not clean. The entire property had an unpleasant smell, and the living area was cluttered, with excessive items on and between the sofa. Although a hairdryer was listed as an amenity, none was provided, and there were no proper toiletries like body wash. Poor Communication Communication with the property owner was practically non-existent. After receiving initial access instructions, all subsequent queries went unanswered, which was incredibly frustrating when trying to address these issues. Overall, this was a very poor experience, and I would not recommend this property.

Recommend putting a chain on the front door - Whilst the front door has a code to get in - Anyone who knows that code could enter the property - May be beneficial to have a chain so that people feel secure when sleeping.

A great base for a short stopover.

It’s a good location and has an everything you need. It was a great base for. Stopover for going to theatre. Only a 10 minute walk into centre and if you need a uber it’s only £4.50. Hosts were great at helping with everything and quick for communicating.

Nothing - only thing is kettle didnt hold a boil when switching on. So had to use a pan on hob! But that’s easily sorted for future guests.

Perfect for a short stay!

Host was extremely helpful, the house and bedding was clean. The beds were comfortable, and the location was at a convenient place. House was lovely and warm when we arrived.

Although there was an iron, there was no ironing board however we made do. Only advice I would give is to please leave a cleaning cloth in the kitchen and bathroom so people visiting can wipe down the fridge and worktops after cooking etc and around the sink in the bathroom.

The location for where we were going was great. Only 7 minutes to the sports venue we were using and only 35 minutes from Alton Towers were we also visited.

Parking on the street was tight to say the least and the neighbours were very loud. Not the most salubrious of areas but considering we arrived at 10pm at night and were out all day the following day we didn't have to contend with neighbouring noise too much. Was loud at night though, our son had difficulty falling asleep.

Wonderful modern decor, comfortable beds and tvs in the bedrooms. Tea and coffee supplied, as was a sponge, washing up liquid and in the bathroom hand soap. Beds were clean and made up ready for our arrival.

We cannot fault it. We will rebook in the future when we visit the family in stoke again. Well recommended .
