very homely and worked for what we needed it for.

there was only 1 bathroom for a 10 man house, was a struggle in the morning when we all had to be somewhere for 9 and 8 of us needed showers.

Very spacious. Plenty of toom for all 7 of us. Beds are firm but comfortable. Bedding clean as well as towels. Tea and coffee supplied.

The big lack of kitchen utensils. As a large family cooking meals is important but lacked big time. Not even a can opener!!!! And only 1 medium saucepan bit 2 frying pans. Only 1 teatowel and no oven gloves. Big lack of cleaning products(loo cleaner and others) not even a hoover or dustpan and brush for cleaning up messes from the children so went and brought these for our use as didnt want to lose our deposit. No washing line out side or airer so we couldn't wash any clothes like we normally do on stays away. Outside has no seating area and not pleasent for being outside in the evening or for children to play. Only 4 dining chairs so most of us sat on the floor to eat meals together. A few more towels would be handy as well as only 8 bath towels supplied and 1 hand towel in bathroom.

The host was very welcoming and understanding

Clean, comfortable, perfect location for Alton Towers, Trentham and Waterworld. Three fabulous days with two very affordable overnight stays at the property

Bathroom is downstairs which is not a problem, just to be aware for overnight use. Few more cooking utensils/pans/oven trays would be useful to cook for so many potential guests

Good location close to Hanley centre.

Stairs to upstairs bedrooms are very steep (may be difficult for older guests).

Everything was ok about the accommodation and the location

The parking part was the problem,cause there is only one parking permit.

The fridge stunk of fish so put me off totally.. coffee extras was limited especially when I have a lot of coffee... dining table chairs was enough for 4ppl we were family of 7 so not good enough... high chair would be a advantage... more teaspoons needed as only had a few.. Bathroom downstairs which was disappointing. Sofa bed was disgusting very flimsy with all marks on it.. definitely need to buy new ones as worn out..Did get accused that we had broken it and then had my deposit on hold until satisfied which was shocking.. Host didn't make any effort in arranging parking permit when clearly was agreed would get one. Main door was very creeky and old.. lots of cold air coming through too.. upstairs the floorboards extremely creaky in bedrooms and hallway... need a mop for bathroom as when used all leaked from side of glass door. Living room had a disgusting fireplace. Seemed like it's never been cleaned or sealed off for health and safety.lots of dust on it. Downstairs bedside draw was broken. Property needs netting for privacy in bedrooms as none of rooms had them. Had to check out by 10am but did request extra time to sort 5kids out too but was told would have to pay 15per hour if we went over so rushed everything. Luckily they turned up at 11 but felt the pressure which wasn't a good feeling.

Nothing to note. Maybe a welcome pack to say some local info but that’s just something brought up by one of us as an idea

Location was good lots to do in the area and some lovely places to eat, would highly recommend The Orange Tree.

It was dirty (beds clean but house disgusting) Had to clean toilet before we used it, didn't even bother with the bath /shower...... Sofa beds in lounge rock hard stained and dirty, no real facilities to cook with in a few words the worst property I've ever stayed in 😔

Host was good with communication and dealt with an issue with the shower immediately. Lovely furnishings in bedrooms. Good Wifi and TV. Easy to get into town and good location for exploring the area. Bedrooms were light and airy with plenty of space.

Cleaning could have been better. Only one bathroom, which I hadn't realised was downstairs. For a property accommodating 9 people, this was tricky and the sofa bed was in the living room meaning anyone visiting the bathroom at night needs to go through that room disturbing the person on the sofa bed. Only 4 chairs at the dining table and settees not very comfortable.

1st able we are ready to check out suddenly I receive a tx message around 10am something that we are gonna get charged by hourly because the cleaner outside waiting so I looked on the door and there was no1 on the door. So called and said look I’m awake from 9am this is like threatening us if we booked a hotel they would give us at least 2 hours extra but here only few minutes.... plus deposit wasn’t refunded straight away had to chase started playing with the deposit money that we damaged the property. Then soon I said I have a video record of everything before I left that there is no damaged then 2days later refunded the deposit. Otherwise was playing with the deposit money. However, in checking in day I gotta phone call from that they want £100 deposit I said on your booking thing says £50 why £100 then they said ok that’s fine £50 will be good.

The house was clean and well presented, nice amount of space even though there was 10 of us (2 families) it didn't feel too cramped and the beds and rooms were very comfortable and modern. The one bathroom may be a problem for some but we were ok just a bit tricky with younger kids if people are showering etc.

They only had cutlery, plates, glassware etc for 6 people and 4 chairs around the dining table - there should be enough to cater for the capacity they rent out for - The area seems a bit rough which made some of the people I was with uneasy but we were only sleeping there and out for the day. I found the neighbours to be pleasant
