It was good overall, 10/10 for communication with RMR. Shower needs a new head, it’s leaking all over the place. One

It’s was spacious

Parking was a bit daunting. We were told to park elsewhere or display a valid parking permit by someone who knocked at the door, we were told this is due to it being a match day. Turns out this “unknown someone was a local resident” and I believe we were parked in their parking space, because as soon as we moved our car, they rushed to park their car right in front of our door - very unwelcoming local residents and also not great that we couldn’t put a parking permit on our vehicle as it was misplaced by previous stayer.

Stay here if you’re just looking to get your head down at the end of going to Alton Towers.

We chose the property as we were going to Alton Towers for the weekend. It was only half an hour drive from Alton the rooms were nice and spacious and the beds were comfortable.

The property wasn’t very clean when we arrived. All the kitchen utensils, pots and pans that we used had to be washed before hand. There was no toilet roll. There was a chest of drawers was in bits in a cupboard. The bedroom door handle was fallen off. The sofa had a rip at the side of it and could’ve done a deep clean and cleaning in between the gaps as there was all sorts in there. The bathroom wasn’t clean, God knows what was down the bath plug hole & could do with re silicone properly.

Very clean and comfy

Very clean and comfortable, nice service with tea , cereal ,soap close to local shops , we went to Trentham monkey park that's the reason for staying so many things to do in the area

Awful experience made worse by the lack of help from booking .com

Broken furniture , broken shower , 3/4 of a toilet roll for 7 people , sofa bed like a brick , not fit for purpose , could be cleaner , decor tired , holes in the wall in one bedroom. Tried contacting host on arrival and also booking.com , host didn't reply, booking.com did nothing to help me get alternative accommodation even though we had 2 young kids with us , was booked for 2 nights but had to find alternative for second night at extra cost. Booking.com not held up their conditions of finding a replacement if accommodation is unsuitable , very disappointed in the lack of customer service . Spent over an hour on phone on night of arrival with no resolution , not acceptable . Still waiting to hear back from anybody , will be perusing this further for refund

The beds were very comfortable. The code for the front door is a better idea than having to remember a key. All smart tvs which was good.

Fab place to stay

The house was lovely and clean. It was like a home away from home, The kitchen had everything you needed, including cleaning products. The beds were really comfortable and the bedding was good quality. Towels were also provided. We were there as a family visiting Alton Towers, which was a 30 minute drive away through pretty little villages. We would 100% recommend staying here and will return for our next trip to Alton Towers.

Comfortable but not clean enough and missing important items.

Great location and nice interiors.

Floors not clean. Broken and unsafe stair banister. No mop, broom or dustpan and brush. Condensation in bathroom and toilet lead to wet walls and floors which is unhygienic. No hand towels provided. Only one pot had a lid which made cooking difficult. A travel iron is not sufficient and should not be advertised in my opinion. Not enough cutlery, only 4 forks and 2 spoons.

I was emailed in plenty of time with the door code which worked as soon as I arrived, I asked for an earlier checkin which was provided at no cost and I was contacted saying the room was ready for me, could not ask for better communication or service.

Good value for money, but needs some TLC

The house was clean, and the beds were fairly comfortable. There was a TV in each room which was a nice touch. Although the sound on the TV's was poor, you expect that in a rented holiday home. There was enough untensils in kitchen. The entry system to the property was great too. And so was the free parking. We could always get a space very near the property. The location was very good too. The heating was great and easy to use.

Although it advertised sleeping for 8, the sofa bed was very uncomfortable and there was no extra bedding provided. We only had 7 in our party but still needed that extra bedding available. I ended up nicking my nephew's pillow from his bed and using all the throws from the bed as a make shift duvet. Also, there was no tea bags or anything like that. Not that it's absolutely necessary as there is a shop nearby, but would have been a nice touch. There was also no shower curtain and the shower rail where the curtain was was broke and taped together. So water just went everywhere. Hand soap provided, but again, shower gel would have been a nice touch.

Worked well for Alton Towers stop over

Great location for Alton Towers and a stop over tour. No problem parking. TVs in all rooms Property clean and tidy Owner was able to respond quickly to queries and organise a call out to get the oven repaired.

Shower curtain still needs replacing as do oven gloves. Oven not working was a bit of a blow but was fixed on the first evening.

El apartamento muy justo… no encontrábamos la luz del baño, costaba mucho que se calentase el piso, no había secador, la puerta del patio no había manera de cerrarla con pestillo (se quedaba abierta y cualquier persona podría haber entrado)
