Please contact us to review the method of payment that we can use.

We are having major difficulty paying the hotel for our room charges. Upon check out, we returned the key, met with the owner who assured us that our charges were settled. We now understand that he was mistaken and is trying to arrange a means of payment. We need to do so with a secured system. Can we pay through booking.com and you can forward the payment to him? Looking forward to hearing from you.

Nice hotel not far from town of Appenzell

Our room had a nice balcony on the back side of the hotel so it was quiet, away from the street and train traffic. Large windows let in good outside light. Tasty breakfast delivered to your table (not a buffet: set breakfast is made for all guests). Free parking at hotel. Friendly staff; comfortable bed.

Make sure to read carefully any email you get from the hotel telling you how to get into the hotel when no one is there. We arrived late afternoon. I had not seen the directions, no one was there, and it took us awhile to figure out how to enter. You have to enter your country’s phone prefix in front of the phone number provided in a note on the front door to reach the owner.

Great experience, I’d love to go back!!

Convenient, easy to access, clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The attached restaurant was outstanding. Staff was friendly, responsive, and professional.

As an American, I did not expect to not have air conditioning. Opening windows helped with airflow and cooling in a warm summer day. Not a dealbreaker, just a reflection of my lack of familiarity with European hotels.

Lovely place to stay with an AMAZING restaurant!

Very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of parking spaces. The restaurant was absolutely incredible. Definitely get a reservation to eat there if you can!

Not terribly close to attractions/hiking. Finding the entrance to check in through the restaurant was a little confusing.

Royal stay

The staff was amazing, the food was delicious, large room with comfy beds. We felt really at home. You must dine in the restaurant when you are there and please make a reservation because it is very popular. The service they provide is 5star.

A lovely friendly guesthouse close to Appenzell.

This is a lovely guest house run by very friendly and welcoming staff. The room was spacious and comfortable. It was quiet as requested. There is nothing here to complain about. We loved it.

My first bad review ever of a hotel. After trying to cheat us putting us together in one room despite having confirmation for three different ones, one of us felt ill right after eating at the restaurant. The owner showed zero empathy and avoided any type of responsibility, and did not want to help at all with the issue. Never seen such an attitude of a manager. All this, in a restaurant that pretends to be high quality (with quite high prices) with waiters that hardly smile and food which is nothing special. To avoid.

كل شي جميل في الفندق ، تعامل الموظفين وحتى الافطار بسيط لكن جميل والاطلالة وموقع الفندق قريب من محطة المترو ، ويوجد سوبر ماركت مقابل الفندق ، طوال فترة اقامتنا ما احتجنا نستخدم السيارة خصوصا اننا اشترينا بطاقة اوسكار الي تعطيك ميزة المواصلات العامة مجانا وصعود التلفريكات ودخول بعض الفعاليات مجاني

عدم وجود مصعد قد يكون متعب اذا عندك شنط وأغراض كثيرة

Das freundliche Personal!!! Das Zimmer ist gemütlich gestaltet und schafft sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Die Unterkunft ist bestens erreichbar und hat Stellplätze direkt am Haus.

Das Zimmer war sauber und schön.Das Frühstück war sehr gut und ich kam in den Genuss von grosser Gastfreundlickeit.

Hätte für dein Preis kein Einzelbett erwartet,aber im nachhinein ist man immer schlauer.
