Good spot for an overnight stay or maybe a budget weekend. Friendly staff and comfortable warm room. Good shower and lots of hot water. But the place needs some money spending. Floor boards are creaky, carpets look warn, shower cubicle was old and, frankly, not very hygienic. Continental breakfast was sort of available but local cafes are better. Yes, I'd use it again but only if choice is limited

Location is exellent for getting out and exploring the countryside. The hotel itself is good value for money but quite dated and in need of significant TLC. Staff were helpful and friendly and the bar was well stocked. Overall a nice little place and would stay again if in the area

Loved it. It could do with a lick of paint here and there but it’s clean, warm, the food is fantastically fantastic- must do the best Asian food for miles around. Fill your boots. We will be back!

This family make a great curry but they are NOT hoteliers!! They clearly purchased the restaurant and got the hotel with it thinking they could manage it but they really can’t. They should employ a professional cleaner but they don’t. Instead they must use their almost-blind Auntie because as you can see from the photos, it’s horrendous. Thankfully, the bedsheets were the only clean thing. My neighbour’s door must’ve been sticking because they couldn’t shut it normally - they had to slam it. There was no one in reception for checking in or checkout so I had to throw the keys into the desk area!! Not worth £110!!!
