Price and location
Nothing to complain about

Great facilities and location
My room was filthy and it got worse. They left rubbish on the room and failed to clean.

We were in the wing which was very far from reception. Say 200 metres, so very quiet and peaceful and looking onto the Forrest of Fontainbleau
Evidence of mould and wood rot. Cleaning of the room was a bit hit and miss

The gardens and the pool
Lots of things. The whole place needs a fully renovation.

Visited so my husband and son (15) could climb and we could all do a day trip (via train from Fontainebleu Avon) to Paris. Fab base for that. Room was great. Beds comfy. Free (still and fizzy) water was great. Pool was lovely. Had pizza in Ury (which is walking distance) It was exceptional. (Ury is small - there is only 1 pizzaria! Really delicious.
Sheep on site (kept to keep the grass down) were sweet too! Really liked the 'changing area' - a 2nd door divided the separate toilet and wardrobes by the front door from the sleeping area. Didn't hear a single door slam or noisy guests going to bed or going out early! Staff were lovely.
Was a pain we were 20 mins from Fontainebleu, but the drive was lovely so only a minor inconvenience.

The location was great, the rooms clean and the beds good. The staff was friendly.
It was nice that there was a restaurant and the fare reasonable. Breakfast was good.
The problem was the air conditioning and the WiFi. It was 30+ degrees and there was no discernible air conditioning in the rooms. Even changing the setting to 5 degrees made no difference. The windows had no screens and considering the wasps and mosquitoes at the windows, opening them was no option. It must have been at least 28 degrees in the room which made sleeping difficult. The WiFi was also sketchy in our room.

The room was generally clean.
The room has just exceeded it's lifespan a bit. And there was absolutely zero that surprised me.

This is the second year that we've used this hotel as a base whilst Bouldering around Fontainebleau, it's a great location, plenty of parking, does a good breakfast, has good dinner options and the pool is a real bonus. The hotel is ten minutes drive from Fontainebleau town, so it was really easy to pop into town for dinner.

Well performed internal renovation, warm pool, clean rooms, reactive reception.
Outside areas still need some love, overgrown grass in places, give the feeling the place is run down. Difficult to understand how to access the ppol, you need a badge, then you dont, which way to get in, where to put your clothes etc. Would have been easy with some clear explanation from reception.
Food was unfortuantely really bad. Chip pan needs replacing - fat soaked chips. tough old boot pork ribs, ice creams from a wrapper part of a kids menu, just a bit cheap. We go the impression the staff were embarassed when dropping the food to us at the table.

Location, very convenient
Horse riding next door at Des Sabots dans la Foret is wonderful
Pool was smaller than we expected and diving is not allowed. This disappointed my daughter as this was something she wanted to practise.

Nice hotel, close to Fontainebleau and well connected. Facilities are a bit old, and the pool is a bit crowded during the summer.
Breakfast could be way better.

Location, large comfortable room and bed. We only stayed one night as passing through. The staff were very friendly and helpful
Food was underwhelming not very much choice

Recently built, immaculate condition, tons of amenities for kids/families, great location to visit the Fontainbleau castle and adorable town. Would stay again 100%.

the pool was too small and it was too crowded, overall expensive for the services.

The hotel was really nice for the family with kids. Our kids enjoyed nice table tennis/tennis court, billiard and swimming pool. It was nice for parents as well, regarding the points that kids can play with other kids in the playing room.
I had already known it before, but the access was not easy if you would not go by your car.

Convenient stop near from south of France on the way to Paris. Booked very last minute and late in the evening - super easy with kids.
Could do with a general room refresh but again we only stopped for a few hours.

Good restaurant and ample safe parking.
Room clean and efficiently appointed.
No lift and A/C not effective
10.0 / 10.0
it was a really modernised property, with excellent facilities - the heated outdoor pool and seating area were lovely, and the free games room with pool and babyfoot kept the children entertained. The staff were brilliant and friendly, and the evening dining and breakfast were really lovely and great value.

Great outdoor sports facilities, lovely terrace, good food and very nice restaurant.
The only negative was that we had to move rooms at the last minute because the toilet was blocked and the replacement room was a long walk and upstairs which was tricky for my son on crutches
