🅿️ Centrally Located Comfort in Fontainebleau

We recently spent one night at The Originals Boutique, Hotel Victoria in Fontainebleau. The hotel's greatest strength is its location: it is very centric and provides good value for the money, making it an excellent base for exploring the area. A definite plus is the fact that the hotel has parking on the premises, which is a huge convenience in a central location. The breakfast provided was okay, serving its purpose for a quick start to the day. Overall, it was a perfectly adequate stay. The Originals Boutique, Hotel Victoria is definitely something we would consider if we return to Fontainebleau again due to its location and convenient parking.

Awful value for money

Incredibly basic rooms for the cost. Tea making facility in room consisted of one green tea bag. Onecsachet of nescafe one sugar and no.milk. when asked for milk at reception was told they did not have any

Great Location in a lovely town

Great location a short walk from restaurants and bars. Nice rooms and a comfortable bed. Secure parking was a bonus (although there is a fee). The garden area was lovely with a selection of tables and chairs. The hotel staff were very friendly. We felt it was good value for money considering it’s only a short walk to Fontainebleau Palace and 45 minutes by train from Paris. We only stopped for 1 night but would recommend.

We had heavy suitcases and were on the 3rd floor, unfortunately there isn't a lift. Also it was very hot when we were there and although there were 2 fans provided in our room (which were very much appreciated) air conditioning would have been a bonus.

Great location , Lovely rooms and very comfortable bed.

The hotel looks a bit tired . The gardens outside could be quite spectacular if they were looked after - but the grass was dead and lots of weeks . Inside the rooms the paint was peeling and walls were chipped - just needs a bit of love and it would be perfect

The hotel is average and did the job for a one night stay and for the price, but would problably not go back.

Location: We came to Fontainebleau for a local Half Marathon and we stayed for a night. The hotel was very well located (10 mins walking distance) to the start line so that was great! Staff: middle aged lady and younger gentleman were sweet and welcoming. Room: relatively big

AC: so annoying the ac did not work and it was VERY hot (in the mid to late 20s celsius) and even though we opened the windows, we sweated like pigs during the night. Staff: while the lady and younger gentleman were very nice, the older gentleman at the desk when we left was rude and unprofessional. He basically told us off for booking on Booking. Like why does he care how we book?🤨 overall we thought the behaviour was uncalled for and totally rubbed us the wrong way! Room: while the room was big, it was a little run down. The radiator rack was filthy, there was dirt on the pillowcase - not sure if the room was properly cleaned before us.

The hotel has a beautiful garden and our room was quiet and spacious.

The hotel is advertised as bike friendly but its bike storage has room for improvement. It is small and overcrowded, without any proper place to lock the bikes to.

No lift (to 3rd floor). Unfinished plasterboard in hallways. Tiny toilet compartment. Poor standard of furniture, flooring and general finish - all giving uncared for, low-budget impression.

Location is great, especially if you are visiting INSEAD. It is close to shops and restaurants. The room is nice and spacious. Bathroom was clean. All necessary amenities were provided.

We had to pay 70 eur for checking in 2.5 hours before the official check in time. The fee seems a bit stringent.

Not great value for money.

The hotel is conveniently located between and close to both the town centre and INSEAD Business School. The breakfast is good and the hotel staff and helpful and friendly.

The room has plenty of natural light but the decor is dated and calling apart. Management simply need to spend a few minutes in the room and look around, to see all the broken and damaged decor, fittings and fixtures.

Nice quiet stay

We enjoyed quiet second floor room, lovely and quiet with view of the garden. Location excellent nice stroll from centre and Château. Comfy bed

The glass shield wouldn’t open to bath/shower so it made it a little unsafe to get into sloping end of bath to shower. We like to watch a bit of CNN or something in English at the end of the day. For the price we pause for the room we think that’s reasonable

This is a friendly and comfortable boutique hotel which was perfect for our overnight stay.

Breakfast was good for €10 the staff were friendly the room was comfortable. Parking our Campervan safely was no problem and an easy walk to the amazing Château.

The door lock could work better but not a big deal.
